i love the "DON'T HIRE YOUR FRIENDS" part, because it's something that one will not be able to handle...hiring a friend brings about a lot of sentiment like: not being able to confront him/her when the person goes wrong, due to so much attachments...
I like these! Easy to make and handy to carry along. I recommend greasing the cookie sheet well. I didn't the first time and they stuck real bad. When greased they came right off the sheet. I've used a variety of dried fruit, cherries, pineapple, crasins, and blueberries. All good. The texture is not like a real cookie. It's moist, soft, dense, and chewy. Overall, well worth the effort.
If you slice day(s) old bread and put a little oil on it, a crock pot can do wonders -like pipping hot fresh bread. It takes patience though. and most crocks are too small to make it practical. Crust comes out nice and crispy while the inside is soft with a layer of crisp.
spider plants and boston fern are good air cleaners that are also non-toxic for pets. Aloe is also good. Some cats will eat it and it can be tough for them to digest but it also had uses as it's salve can be used to treat cuts and burns. Aloe is good for the bedroom as it cleans air overnight.
I like a cold house and only heat when guests are here or it is really really cold!! The motto in my house when we were young was "Just because you came inside doesn't mean you need to take off your coat!!"
Rub a peel along the blade of your windshield wippers 3 or 4 times keep the blade off the windshield so it can cure about 5 minutes, then wipe the banana goop off with a clean damp rag. The next time you use your wipers they will work like new.
Ditch the banana peel and use Orange rind instead. Cats can not stand orange scent! Also use orange scented polish on tables etc. you don't want them around. *** best part about this is that the scent of orange is totally healthy for them & so you will never hurt them with this method.
I've work in a flower store for years, and we have always had at least one store cat living there. None of our cats have ever gotten sick from eating plants. Most of the plants on the list are pretty common, and we usually have at least some of them around at all times. The cats just don't seem particularly interested in most of the plants. Our current cat loves to chew grass and lysianthus buds, but has never suffered ill effects from it.
It doesn't hurt to be careful, but unless your cat gets really excited about tasting everything, it's probably not something you have to worry about.
Having oral herpes is actually might be a blessing in disguise because it is much less likely that you will have genital herpes. I learned about viruses in my undergrad as a biology major. Also, many people acquire the virus early on like when a baby gets passed around and receives a lot of kisses from relatives. It is not always avoidable and a lot of people have it. Better than genital herpes though I'd say.
If one area of your life is out of shape if reflects on all the other areas and those tend to fall apart too. I eat too much junk/fast food and that impacts both waist and wallet. Getting my weight under control will help me reduce debt.
If you have polycarbonate lenses - Armour Etch removed the crazed and scratched coating on the outside of the glasses in seconds. Like a brand new pair of glasses. I went to two different "reputable" eye glass retailers and spoke to the managers at both places and they said you CANNOT remove it. IDIOTS! Exactly why I don't believe anything anyone says anymore.... :)
I used to work at the Y.... we had "one week free" promotions several times a year, but everyone was entered into our database and if you tried to sign up more than once in a calendar year, you'd be denied. We also asked for (and photocopied) IDs of people who signed up so they couldn't scam their way in.
I have used NetSpend without any issue for years. Their service is unmatched when it comes to prepaid debit cards. It's not like they stole anything from you. They sent you a piece of mail.... that's it. What's the issue?
I don't normally buy organic foods because to the high prices, but I do grow a lot of my own (organic) fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

Organic as often as i can. I'm lmited only by what my local stores carry (no car).
One more thing. A shovel. Most any size will be better than none at all. A folding shovel will also work as a hoe.
Is there a way for me to get some of these recipes...like the tea?

Be real, be sober.

Thanks for sharing your experience, and glad that the Y had controls in place!
Yes, absolutely!

Sometimes, if the price is right I will buy organic.

I'm a kid and I don't think I can do any off that

I definitely do! Even though I'm a student, I still manage to pick and choose which items I buy organic
Yes, I try to buy local, organic, in season food.
