Cilantro is PERFECT for making beans. I use a mix of cilantro, garlic, and olive oil and add that to a can of Goya beans! Add some beef bouillion and it's getting there. A bit of tomato paste, and oh my god.
By the way, ADOBO is the ultimate spice in my cupboard.
And it's VERY inexpensive.
People have the misconception that they want to lose weight. They don't. What they really want to do is lose FAT. Comparing (volume wise), the same amount of muscle is heavier than the same amount of fat. The group of fat people that were put on an exercise program most likely lost fat and increased muscle. Yes, they may weight about the same, but they lost fat while gaining muscle. This is a GOOD thing. And injuries? Really? You can get into an accident driving a car, but you don't stop driving do you? It's about proper form and knowing your limits.
Yes, I filed already. Sort of like pulling of a band aid; you want it over quick. I used a local tax pro. He was rather impressed at how close to zero I got this year. Needless to say, I was hoping for a bigger refund.
I've really gotten big into homebrewing in the couple of months since i first found this and I can tell you that you can buy a hydrometer for 6 bucks and check the gravity of what you have in the fermenter. if the gravity stays consistent for a couple days in a row, the yeast is done. there is some benefit to allowing it sit on the yeast cake as it will allow more of the yeast to fall out of suspension. If you are able to take it and chill it down to 35 degrees or so for a couple of days even more stuff will fall to the bottom. Then you rack it off to your still and fire it up. probably overkill since you are only collecting vapor but this is what we do when we make beer to insure it is nice and clear.
I filed my taxes by myself for the first time a few weeks ago! I used to rely on my sister for help, but was amazed at how easy it actually is! A coworker also just pointed me in the direction of another tax break: I currently live in Cincinnati, but up until a few weeks ago worked in an office across the river in Kentucky. For every day that I did not work in Kentucky in 2010 and 2011 (worked from home, went on business trips), I got a break on the local income tax I was paying in Kentucky!
I filed my taxes about 2 weeks ago using online tax software and e-filing. I received by federal refund in about 10 days and will use that money for pure pleasure activities during my upcoming trip to the Florida Keys.
We've got quite a few TV's and computers, and it's not just the electricity these things eat up, they also get into serious battles with our air conditioner, making it work harder, and driving up the bill even more! Vicious cycle! lol
Oh sure, I'm going to go have a clothesline put up in my backyard so I can lug wet laundry up from the basement and hang it up over my head. Maybe the person who wrote this is young and perfectly healthy but I'm not and if the job didn't kill me my cardiologist would. What is next? Maybe I should scrub my clothes on a washboard. How about other people giving up the video games, smartphones, book readers and all the other superfluous things they spend good money on. I'll keep my dryer thank you,
I have not filed my return yet. I am still awaiting my final forms and will rush them to my accountant as soon as they are in hand. This is the same routine every year. I file them the weekend before they are due.
We went to our accountant to get the taxes done in Feb., but NO we haven't filed them yet because we're waiting for one more piece of information. There is no rush for us since my husband is self-employed and we owe : )
That's an excellent tip! Thanks very much for sharing. I'm a bit jealous of you, though, with a Publix nearby. I love that market, but we don't have them in the Northeast. :(
We all LOVE Paste food concentrate. At publix, Sam's etc...For less than $5. a lg jar start up cost...you use a tsp or so to add major flavor to food. A dab of mushroom packs a punch vs a pkg of mushrooms into a sause, gravy or soup. They come in onion, beef, chicken, clam, seafood, tomatoe, veggie, and mushroom. My homemade chicken & dumplings are all the rage at pot-lucks due to the chicken paste added. NO-ONE can guess my "secret" at the flavorful sause!!!!....These last for months in a frig.& taste wayyyy better than boulion.

Lists and Cell Phone reminders are my two hugest ones.
But lists by FAR.
If I have a list, I feel like I NEED to get it accomplished!
I filed them on February 1st. Can you tell I was going to get money back?
i already filed-even though we have to pay-ouch
Done! It's best to get it over with once you have all the necessary information!

I did my federal in February but the headache of my state taxes has led me to procrastinate on those!
I like (LOVE) your facebook page!

We file ours as soon as we get all the info in. I worry about procrastinating and then being rushed to get it together.
I'll read this article tomorrow...or maybe next week.

Already a fan on FB, but I Liked the article there.
Yes, filed my taxes using free fillable forms that I printed out and mailed last week. Refund will go towards children's college funds.
No, not yet.
Yes, last month. And I have already received my refunds.
