Nope. My long time husband brought up the subject of divorce once -saying that we could sell everything and split it half and half. I told him that I had a better idea - I could kill him and keep it all. ;-) (Kidding people...so don't send me hate replies!)
Not the person who commented, but I would guess it's in lieu of snacks and meat. Plus, frozen can be had relatively cheaply, and is usually fresher than 'fresh'.
Nope, no prenup, but I did ask for one. I knew I was a saver and she was/is a spender. Although she has never been in debt, I wanted to protect my meager savings. She continually resisted, so I dropped it.
How can you possibly save 25% by adding more fruits and vegetables to meals? In particular, how can you possibly save money adding fruit? To reword it, how are you saving 25% by spending in excess of 25% of what it would cost without any fruit?
I answer this question with, "With few exceptions, yes"....
and if asked what the exceptions are, provide a small list of exceptional events, such as a family member in trouble/ill or the wedding day of my daughter.
We got a prenup when we married 15 years ago because we both had assets that we had worked for and wanted them protected. We also realize that at this point after two kids, the prenups would not probably stand up in court any longer. That's fine with us; we aren't going anywhere.
The independent movie theater in my college town had a student night -- I think it was Tuesdays. That was awesome. I'm pretty sure the independent-film-showing chain in Philadelphia, the Ritz, has student nights too, although I'm not sure if that's changed since they went under new ownership.
Wow! What an incredible comment, Debbie. That totally made my day - and I'm so pleased that you find my pieces thoughtful and informative. That's my goal. Have an excellent afternoon!
When I get married I do not plan to have a prenup because we will be fully committed to each other and to our common life together.
Hi! I just liked you on Facebook, please enter me in your drawing. Thanks!

I used some of these tactics when I had a 16 hour flight to China!! It helped my sanity so much!
I Like you on Facebook as Selene Montgomery
No prenup for us!
Nope, no prenup, some things are more important to me than my physical belongings, and this just seemed to put my stuff before my family.

My husband and I decided against a prenup.
No way! A prenup is almost admitting that you expect the marriage to fail!

Just shows that everyone has buttons that can be pushed, and the power of the insecurities of others.
Her reaction, in this case, tells us more than the promo materials ever would dare.

Google docs is wonky sometimes. Try reloading!
Nothing about quieting fussy infants? Or is that only in my family. ;)
