It's always smart to have your next move lined up. That may be a new job, or that may be the seeds for a new business. Whatever way you cut it, it means that you will not be out on your own when you sever ties. Having a back up plan is always a good idea.
check the quality of all clothing. name brand or not but i will wager that way more often than not the name brand will be of higher quality. then again which name brands are you talking? the ones that can be found in Walmart/JC Penny? or clothing from actual retail shops?
It's possible to be too frugal if you are doing things you really hate to do or depriving yourself of things you love just to save money, even if you can afford to buy them.
You can be too frugal. When your quality of life is barely above the level of torture you've gone too far. If it is a means to an end it can be worth it though!
I think it is possible to go from frugal to cheap. The difference is attitude. You can be frugal and still be generous. It is far harder to be cheap and generous at the same time.
Exactly right, do the things that are line with your passion and you'll never regret what you did! I came across a video that talks about why you should do what you love and forget the things that you don't want to do! I learned a lot from it. http://marieforleo.com/2012/01/safe-job-or-do-what-i-love/
I would just be careful in general. I recently read come credit card horror stories and was very surprised of the things that go on. Your first tip is right on. Many people think they need this coverage. However, do a little research and you will find out that the government protects you...way better than some random credit card company that wants your money.
I have business cards from my workplace, which I use at professional networking events or occasionally when I need to provide contact information at a business for getting personal information about a product. For example, we selected a printer at the local Staples this week and asked them to hold it until the next morning. Rather than writing down my name and phone number, I gave the salesman a card.
Also, my husband and I share a social networking business card; he has one side and I have the other. It lists the URLs for websites and blogs, along with our email addresses. We ordered them through uPrinting.
Occasionally I will use one card or the other when a local restaurant has a fishbowl for a chance to win a free lunch.
As long as it doesn't hurt anyone I don't think you can be to frugal.
Yes...I really think you can be too frugal, when your health and the well being of people around you become at stakes.

The discipline of trusting yourself daily, choosing wisely, and doing the next right thing leads me to a healthy frugality.

No, not currently because of finances.

No, I haven't used business cards. I probably could use them for networking at times. The examples are nice!
I don't use business cards cause I don't need them where I work unfortunately!
I have used business cards to facilitate future communications. :-) Thank you.

Have you used business cards? Very rarely. Most of my work is virtual, so my email signature is my business card.
I used them when I worked as a Makeup Artist. CUrrently I do not use them.
