It also depends on whether you intend to make any alterations to the design anyway... I tend to buy items with the intention of making them into something completely different so the broken zipper, etc prob really isn't a prob for me at all! Many of my fave pieces were damaged in some way..
One tee I love to death was a dingy stained white, but with a brilliant green dye, perfecto!!
Just use creativity and a serious look at your limitations! ( i wont replace zippers in leather!)
a 50 gallon "mash" barrel, how many pounds of corn? how many pounds of sugar? how much water? should i use all of the 50 gal. of the barrel or maybe 40 gal? another question, how do i know when the "head" is done so that i start saving my brew?? practical questions from a beginer.
We live in the Boston area. We have a dual income and now kids with a pre-tax salaries around $170,000 and we are not struggling, but we're not getting ahead. People will flame asking "where is the $ going?!?". So as a preemptive strike, I will just say that it doesn't go that far because of Uncle Sam and the fact that we're savers. We save close to 40% of our salaries maxing out IRA's, 401K's and taxable accounts. We're also paying off student loans and dealing with the cost of utilities.
I find it funny that we pay close to $120/ month for cable when I've talked to people who got the Spanish version of our package for less than $40/month. Not a jab at anyone, just an observation.
6 figure incomes, when saving like one should, does not get you very far in life these days.
The love and hope shared over the holidasy and Christmas are such a heartwarming part of the year. I love watching the hope and delight in the faces of the young ones... and listening to others as they search for people to bless this season... I love that this time of year always encourages people to look for others to bless and encourage in so many ways... love the singing and joy in the hearts of many... even in the hardest of times, it still brings joy to the heart of all that grasp the seasons joy!
Last weekend I blogged about Gratitude on my blog and today as I was catching up on email/RSS feeds this post caught my eye. Like another commenter wrote, this is one of the best blog posts I have read in a while. I love it. Thank you for sharing.
IMHO, frugality is NOT about being cheap... it is about finding value. While I certainly don't think that someone who cannot pay the bills should be going to Starbucks, there IS a place for luxury items in a frugal lifestyle.
For me, coffee is not my thing and folgers is just fine for me, but that doesn't mean someone else might value the Starbucks experience and choose to place his/her money there. While I cannot justify $100 bucks/month on coffee, I CAN justify that much on fishing trips.
Frugality SHOULD be a unique experience and it is not a one size fits all sort of thing. Also, for each individual, how they are frugal can change depending on the circumstance. For example, someone who can't make ends meet should not be going to starbucks, while a frugal person who is doing fine can make Starbucks a regular thing and still be frugal.
Hi...... This top sequence did not work for my LG combo but i read on and discovered the one where you turn on machine open cd draw and pers 0000. this got me to the desired screen on t.v and the just had to change the region from 4 to 0
I'm getting married for the second time (in two weeks!) and I'm glad to say I've toned down things quite a bit. Both sides of the family are pitching in to pay for the festivities. Nothing too fancy, no registries (even though my first marriage left me penniless for the most part). My groom's family is covering the reception in their town and my parents are covering the announcements and invites as well as an open house at their home. I'm spending FAR less this time around and have made sure that the importance of the day and what it's all about shines as the priority of the day. For my fiance it's his first marriage and so we are making it special for him, for me it's a celebration that I finally found someone who wants the same things in life that I want and that we will be together. I don't think there are rules, as each situation is different. Just be true to yourself.
1/4 tea of boric acid mixed with a few drops of soda pop right on top of the empty pop can gets um every time. the whole army comes, eats , and takes the poison back to the nest. in 24 hours its over. might want to build a little ramp onto the can with some foil.http://www.flickr.com/photos/55436628@N06/6524076295/in/photostream
With movie prices hovering around $10-13+ where I live, this article is definitely a breath of fresh air. I don't live too far from LA, either, so I'll be checking out these sites for future screenings!
My wife and I like to give home made gifts also. We have a tradition of baking breads, cookies, and muffins for gifts. It's not only a nice gift, but it's also rewarding to work together in the kitchen with our two boys to do the baking.
You should find the joy and magic of raising your child, find living in their world a joy...discover that the small and little things of joy can create pure happiness within yourself. Don't look at it as something holding you back, look at it as something pushing you forward and making you a stronger person. Mom's are understated, but I thank you for being a mom for I am just a child of a mom just like you are, and I respect all their hard work to create us, a new creation in the world.. Be thankful for what you have, not what you don't...that is where you should begin. And who said you still can't do things while having a child ? Find creativity the best way you can, and look at the positive, you will find life really isn't that bad.
Really, it is all about your perpective, and you should get there :)
A Bookmark and Page holder. Works perfectly and frees up your hands all you need is two regular sized rubber bands.

Why is the word vision in scare quotes in the paragraph for item two? What reservations do you have about the word's appropriateness?
Great Article.... I feel as though I can apply most of these steps to my photography business.

My Tap Water has clorine and it DOES NOT AFFECT YEAST!!!
That sounds like a great strategy.
The best part is watching my kids on Christmas morning!
Good article.

Well, I guess everyone should be exactly like you and not find their own way. ;)
The Diaper Genie is great, as long as you keep up with filling the baking soda filling there will be no stinks. I recomand the Diaper Genie.
I have a few questions. With this method, would you have to get rid of the heads and tails? Also, how much moonshine will this yield?
