It depends on the strict definition of "eating out". If you include buying drinks through a drive-thru, then my answer is almost every day. If it's just a meal, then once, maybe twice a week. As for those drinks, I try to go during Sonic's Happy Hour when the sodas are half-price.
I eat out primarily one day a week... I will eat our on Saturday with the motorcycle group I ride with. I usually avoid eating out as I can usually eat healthier at home, but when with a group of people, out and about, that is hardly an option.
When ordering I usually can find a healthy choice to go with the beer - got to balance the carbs. LOL
Usually about once every 2 months or so. It is a real treat for us, and we try to go somewhere that we really will enjoy as a family. (Sometimes though, one just really wants a double cheeseburger from McD's, but those wants are few and far between, lol) For the past 6 months or so, we have had to travel for family things, so we have eaten out a bit more, but usually try to keep costs down. If we got to a fast food place, we share one large fries as a family, we only get water to drink, and have side salads as our veggie. Since McD's is usually about $8 - $10 for our family of 4, it's not been too much of a budget-buster. But we have bigger goals in life than eating out, so our focus is on those goals (and Disney World is totally worth it!)
I eat out once or twice a week. Never chainchow, typically ethnic, lots of variety, little bites here and there. Grazing, I call it, and a fun activity with friends.
I eat out maybe 1-2 per month unless I'm away on business where I have no choice but to eat out everyday. Even then, as long as I have consistent access to a kitchen and a grocery store, I try to avoid eating out as much as possible.
Hi Jennifer, thanks for the question. I don't think you can ever be certain with soft goods. I'm erring on the side of being more conservative with things that can't be washed and dried and in a dryer. Maybe I've watched too many documentaries on bed bug infestations on TV. The good thing is that this approach still leaves a lot to choose from in the thrifting world!
Great find. The other good thing about those older clock radios with the flip cards -- they don't have those glaring digital numbers that can be too bright sometimes.
We moved (job related) from Erie eight years ago and go back every chance we get. I miss the roadside fruit and vegetable stands - McIntosh apples. We always pick up Smith's hot dogs and ox-roast to bring home with us.
It is a wonderful town to raise a family - great small zoo - fabulous local playhouse - wonderful athletic facilities - YMCA, Family First- Spectacular Presque Isle, 12 miles of public beaches and sunsets. Hockey, baseball, and basketball that you can afford to take your families too.
I have to stop. I am getting homesick for Erie.
C;ose enough to Cleveland and Pittsburgh if you need a big city.
Focus groups are an easy way to make money. Although I don't always qualify for each interview, I've been getting an average of 1 every month since December 2010. One month I was accepted in 3 focus groups. The amount of money you receive depends on how long the study is but based on my experience it can range from 20$-200$. Focus Forward is my top focus choice; my last study was an hour phone interview about Kraft Cheese Slices hahah. I talked about which size I usually buy, what I use it for, and even how long it takes to finish a pack. I posted a link to Focus Forward below if you want to join!
This is terrible advice and a great disservice to those of us who sell at farmers markets. At our market, the baked goods are still warm from the oven as we have been baking since 3 am that morning. Our market requires that the products sold are grown by the seller only - so honey only comes from the local beekeeper, and veggies have been grown and picked by the person selling to you. No third party sales. And if you want wool socks, mittens or a hat, we have very talented sheep farmers, spinners and knitters providing you with the nicest, most reasonably priced, unique clothing you could ever want. Please ask questions and be informed as to the rules of your local farmers market and you can decide on your own.
My wife just picked up a brand new superhero costume for our 5-year old at Goodwill for $8. It was fast, inexpensive, and he loves it. We're just hoping he'll be willing to change out of it by the time school starts tomorrow.
I think that #5 has been stated so many ways that people think it is the gospel. It's not. In fact, the gender gap in wages is a lot more complicated than "men make more." For instance, it is also true that men tend to work more hours on average than women. So if you just compare generic salary figures and don't account for this, it looks like women make a lot less. However, if you do control for it, (depending on the source you look at) women are making as much or more than men. This is not to say that men don't work more for some other unfair reason (e.g., because people wrongly believe them to be more competent than women and thus schedule them for more hours) but I think it is worth mentioning that this is not a simple black and white question.
I recently saw a clever costume for a couple of an outlet and a power cord. It was made out of cardboard and seamed fairly easy to put together. I usually don;t dress up for Halloween, but this year my sister want to dress up to go to school. I'm trying to persuade her to go for a flapper look or something else vintage as we can shop at thrift store or consignment store. We can also use the clothes for other outfits.
I'd give most of these a try except bringing someone into my home for safety reason - like you said it does take a certain person to do this.
I have friends who are talented photographers and graphic designers that use their skills to make extra money. Using your hobbies to make extra cash is the best!
When I was a young boy I used to play on the floor when my mother had card parties for her women friends. I just loved pushing my cars around near the table and looking up to see what the ladies were wearing under their skirts. I saw such lovely slips and girdles holding taught lovely seamed nylons. When they would cross their legs I caught a view of their lacy panties or petti pants, remember them ladies? They are lovely to look at and fun to wear under boring male clothing. I have switched to panties now because petti pants are so hard to find. I agree about half slips, I have lots of them but wearing panties under them is a must. Go in a stall to pee if you must but wear panties under half slips.

I like you on FB and I get your feeds through Google blogger.
We eat out about twice a week. We usually try to drink water and get specials when we got out.

I Like you on Facebook as Selene Montgomery
We eat out at least once a week.
5. That would be FLAIR, a talent for style, rather than flare, as in bell-bottom pants.

I'm already a Facebook fan!
No, I wouldn't feel safe driving around without one, especially now that there are virtually no public pay phones anymore.

These types of schemes are also illegal. Be particularly careful of any mail that is automatically sorted out of your inbox.
