Be careful of those "healthy" treats you mentioned. I assume you are talking about something called Grass Saver (or similar). They are little chewable tablets. We started giving our boxer these because he was destroying our yard with urine spots. After 2 weeks he started having seizures.
The main active ingredient in those is Methionine. Some of the side effects are: liver disease, seizures, possible death, etc. While most side effects are rare, I highly suggest NOT using these "healthy treats".
I try to limit myself to eating out only once for lunch during the week, and once or twice for supper. My favorite place is a local Thai restaurant that has excellent pho.
I probably eat out twice a month on average. It depends on if I am visiting my boyfriend or not because we usually eat out more those weekends to maximize time. Generally, it is just some fast food, or something along the lines of Applebee's unless we have a groupon or craving.
i put down 800.00 security deposit and never moved into the Apt. the letter she gave me states 300. is a holding fee and will be add to the security deposit once I sign the lease. i gave here 2 weeks advance notice. it would have been more but see was out of the country. She said I wouldnt get anything back. the apartment still had tenents in there on my move in date anyway. what can I do?
Nice article Paul. My most awkward moment was learning that some of my coworkers aren't getting their 401k match from our company. Most of the group is very happy with the match we are getting and a few didn't contribute at all. Just an awkward conversation all around.
I totally agree. All my life i was a tiny size 10 until i hit 30 yrs old 8 yrs ogo. I developed fibromyalgia and 8 yrs later i have 20+cronic conditions including type 2 diabetes and due to all my meds o have gained 8 stone. I HAVE to take high dose steroids to keep me aluve due to 1 of my conditions. I barely eat a thing which isnt helping yet my sugats arecsstill up 18.5-20.5 range.
My partner who eats like a gannet .......is 30 stone and had his 1st set of bloods done last wk in 10 years. He changed drs so needed doing. I was convinced that being in a size 6xl tops and 54inch waist trousers that he woukd have an UNDER ACTIVE THYROID or diabetes. As he is MY FULLTIME CARER and looks after my 5 kids looks after 2 horses and the house and pets i would expect him to lose weight so fast as hes always on the go. But his weight isnt dropping.
ANYWAY.......tests all came back that he was fine. No diabetes which really hurt me in a way as again it ( why me...why have i got it ). Like my dr said .....it doesnt work like that. Just proves that being ova weight doesnt mean ur diabetic. Its just the way ur body works!!
The issue with retailers donating clothes is that people try to return them for cash or store credit. I worked for a major retailer that used to donate BTS clothes. Case workers would bring kids in, they would pick out stuff, and we would ring it up for $0 and clip the tags. Even with clipped tags, they would make a scene, etc until they got their way-I saw about half of it come back-lost receipts, of course.
Oh I would love to retire in Venice Florida where my grandmother did. Was so beautiful and loved the gulf beach! We would go and look for sharks teeth whenever I visited. Loved it so much!
My husband and I typically try to eat out once a week- once a month is a nicer sit down meal, and the others are fairly inexpensive!
I dine out twice a week. I like Greek and Italian restaurants
I'd say we go out to eat 3-4 times a month.
We do twice a month. It's much healthier and better on your waistline to cook at home

Once or twice, mostly weekends.
I eat out at least twice a week - usually at least one lunch meal and one dinner.

I would like to retire in my same area but probably a smaller house so it's more manageable for me.
That's decades away for me, depends on where family ends up!
I'd like to be near my children.
