I was just searching for information on the ratio of Dawn to Water to De-Ice steps and walks. What I found was that it's one TEAspoon of Dawn to a half gallon of hot/warm water. Also, what I read twice was that it really helps, to melt the ice faster, and keep it that way, if you add one TABLEspoon of rubbing alcohol to the mix of Dawn and water. I haven't tried it yet, just saying that that is what I found so far. Good luck!
Yeah, Orguy, I don't think that anyone here is expressing shock (SHOCK!), just a bit of dismay. Also, data security is really not at the heart of the economic meltdown. Nice attempt at correlation, but FAIL.
The food budget article is pretty good. It's a pretty long list. Some don't really apply to all because not everybody eats the same things. I for one, don't like smoothies ;).
That article that includes the list of twitter experts is an excellent and easy way to get personal finance advice. Too bad I normally drink soda while browsing twitter.
Great tips! It's interesting how even in the worst housing market in years, some houses (e.g. foreclosed) still gets sold out faster than others. I totally agree with you - "having the nicest looking, lowest priced house in your neighborhood" will certainly go a long way in helping your buyers be more comfortable with the purchase. More power!
That Quake Article is a really good one. These are articles that need to be advertised all over the place. The article gives some god advise as to the best way to donate to Haiti. Thanks for posting it.
This only works if you have storage space, but I only get a Costco Membership every other year. At the end of the membership I stock up on the stuff that I use regularly (having extra shelving in my garage and a chest freezer helps with this) and then I go membership-free for a year. Then 12 months later I pay the fee again, use the membership for a year, and then at the end stock up all over again.
Can someone that has already joined the membership check how much it would cost for two tickets from LAX to BOS cost? Please, I'm a little iffy if I should join the club or not. Im scared that they wont have that type of deal for a roundtrip from LAX to BOS.
We are Costco members primarily for contact lenses, gas and paper products. But many other items are not that great of a deal, especially if theres any doubt you will use it before it goes bad. Also a very bad store for impulse buyers and very time consuming with the lines. I have a hard time waiting 15 minutes to save $1 on gas.
its a good method..what it does is that it flushes your RAM....the thing is that a RAM is used when applications are currently running or when applications have been very recently used...it basically clears or flushes up that space...now the reason why some tech-savvys are against using it can be understood here only...in case an application is in use and you use this script then you might lose valueable data , transactions or might end up crashing your computer also(dont stop reading yet though)
the thing is...all you must ensure is that you use it when no applications are directly running..simple
even better thing is that...even if you use it while running an application..the chances of PC crashing are marginal to minimal because they are no longer dumb boxes waiting to go glitchy...also the PC can re-retrive some data in case of accidental flushing...so you can use this method with no problems.
my only advice is..use it only when hardpressed(especially when there is little free RAM space) and its better to opt for other alternatives like upgrading the RAM or defragmentation, etc
I think most people who work with me frequently almost always know where to find me. (They can text or leave a message.) The others? Well.. they can wait until I decide to get back to them :) Having a little freedom is a good thing.
I would love to checkout this cookbook. I am always looking for budget friendly recipes that are healthy and easy to put together. It has gotten really tight for my family now so I would definately use it.
I BOUGHT THE WII CONSOLE, BOARD, AND WII FIT FOR CHRISTMAS IN 08, I WASN'T THAT MOTIVATED TO PLAY, I RECENTLY BOUGHT THE BIGGEST LOSER, AND BEEN ON IT FOR 4 WKS, WHEN I STARTED OFF, I WAS 218, NOW I'M 206, BUT I GOT ON THE WII FIT RIGHT AFTER I WEIGHED MYSELF ON THE BIGGEST LOSER, AND IT SAYS I'M 216. WHICH SHOULD I BELIEVE?

I've been "out-of-pocket" as many times as most people, and I've never used it in my life.
I usually find at least a few seconds during my vacation, or wherever I am at to at least briefly check my email and to respond to anything that's urgent.
I was lucky to get rolling carry on luggage sale at Bergman Luggage with the exciting new collection from Briggs Riley that was combining elegant style and exclusive design at 30% discount.
I've noticed that in some mass firings, bosses or other management tend to be out of the office on vacation or business trips so they don't have to encounter the fallout that goes down after the firing. This should be another bonafide sign
I am working on developing a 'men's line in my Etsy shop - normally I do jewellery that women wear but I am in the process of making cuff links, bookmarks and key rings with themes that might speak to men. I'd be really interested in thoughts about what I need to consider in this and other suggestions about what might be great gifts for the men in your life.
HI, I'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. BUT I HAVE 24" OF HAIR TO SELL. MY HAIR GROWS FAST ENOUGH THAT I CAN CUT IT ABOUT EVERY EIGHT TO TEN MONTHS. THAT WOULD BE TEN OR ELE. INCH. OR SO. JUST SO YOU KNOW. SO, GET BACK TO ME, AND WHEN YOU DO WRITE BACK PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU I.D. YOURSELF WELL, CAUSE IF I'M NOT SURE WHO IT IS, I WON'T OPEN YOU E-MAIL. THANK YOU FOR TIME. THANKS GEO.
I have just found the whole credit crisis to be so interesting and have been trying to follow the news as close as I can, this book definitely looks like a must read.
Not knowing what is in your wallet can be a heartbreak if it ever gets lost or stolen. I agree with Michele that you should clean out your wallet daily and that you should also, in a safe place in your home, have a list of what is in your wallet and contact numbers to call. If your wallet gets lost or stolen you can call all the numbers on your contact list to have credit cards, debit cards and library cards canceled. You should never carry your social security number on you but have it memorized. You should also make photo copies of any information you carry in your wallet that would be difficult and time consuming to replace so at least you would have some documentation to show if it does go missing.
I also got the gift card rebate for buying a Droid. Reading over the information that came with it, I realized that I could take it to the bank and get cash for it. I did just that - and didn't have to worry about being left with that random amount on it that I wouldn't be able to use.

That cover letter article is pretty useful. I can really tend to be generic sometimes.

I'm trying to learn to cook at 26 years old. I'm looking for a recipe help I can get!
