I purchased my first business suit from of all places a thrift store. I felt cheap at the time paying $15 but the suit fit incredibly well, no tailoring required. It is 20 years later and that suit has seen me through multiple graduate school interviews, dissertation and successful job interviews. And people still complement me and keep asking from where I bought it! Should I tell them the truth??
As Zorcy says, it all sounds like it's going along fine. The crust is just going to be things like dead yeast that haven't sunk to the bottom yet, so it will vary depending on how fast the yeast are growing. (Probably with things like the humidity as well.)
My best purchase has to be my dehydrator....with it i am able to save money on healthy all natural foods because I now have the power to make it myself, fruit leathers, cookies, breads....Love it

If you have read '1984', you will know big brother. He is watching you! LOL. Just pay cash and start making bread from scratch, it will be ok. My advice for yeast would be distillers yeast or Turbo Yeast. When you prep the wash, remember, it will go up the 15-20% alcohol. That means you are wasting yeast if you don't put in enough sugar. Since Yeast is at a premium that far out, you can harvest yours. Save just a bit of yeast, start a colony on the counter, move it to the fridge and feed it every few days. It will slow down in the fridge, but not die. When you are ready to use it, pull off 1/4 to 1/2 cup and bring to room temp with a little more sugar and water mix. You will see a lot of activity to indicate it has woken up. This will work for some time before the yeast starts to change and loose its virility. The distillers yeast I use is about $6 CAN for 4 cups. Good luck and let us know how it turned out.
If you don't want to pay large amounts as a gift, only as a loan, make sure it's a very good friend, a friend who can ensure you he or she will pay the money back to you.
So either you accept to give it as a gift, or if you really don't want to loose any money (if you want to give it as a loan) make sure it's a very good friend. And then, still there might be a chance you will never get it back. Yeah, life is full of risks.
Dude I'm almost positive that from what else I've read around the internet all Aluminum is bad in this process because of the risks associated with aluminum oxide. Probably a good idea to edit aluminum out of this post. Still though great post
Yes i have a Netspend card actually i use to sale them at a place i worked. The reason they would just send out the card like that is, it doesn't effect your credit or anything its pretty much like like having cash in hand. And when you activate the card they do ask for a social security number to have for security purposes incase you have any questions about the card. they offer fee plans like 9.95 a month for unlimited purchase transactions. I actually work at another job now but still have my netspend card and I have my direct deposit from my job go right onto my card and it is wonderful. You never have to worry about overdraft fees. You can sign up for instant alerts so as soon as you swipe your card you can get a text message or email or even both stating how much you spent how much is left where the purchase was made at and the time.
I have been a netspend user for several years. Before using netspend, I got into some financial trouble with my bank and way overdrew my account. The account was closed and I now owe the bank more than $600.00! (which I am paying off using a netspend card) Having a Netspend debit card has helped me to pay bills/debts that can only be paid online, or must be paid with a visa card. I load the money needed each week to pay the bill at my local currency exchange, and then the money is withdrawn from the card by my creditors. It has made things a lot easier for someone like me who has made mistakes in the past to get back on my feet financially.
I can also use my netspend card on ebay to pay for things through paypal. While I have to admit that the 1.00 transaction fee is a bit annoying, as is the 2.00 loading fee (I hear it's as much as 5.00 elsewhere), I must admit that I wouldn't be able to put my credit back together, and pay my debts quickly and easily if it weren't for this card.
If Netspend sent unsolicited cards with peoples names on them, then that could be a problem if someone else got a hold of that card and activated it. Most currency exchanges do not require an ID to load money onto these cards. Case and point, I went on vacation, and still needed to load money onto the card so that my creditors could be paid on time. So I gave the card to my mother and asked her to do it for me. She took the card to the currency exchange and had the card loaded with money without problem or hassle. While a persons money is not being stolen here, it can still damage a persons credit if the card was not activated by the person who's name appears on the card. So if you receive an unsolicited card, and do not wish to use it, THEN DO NOT ACTIVATE THE CARD. SHRED IT!

I'm a GTD junkie, so buying OmniFocus was definitely my best purchase. It revolutionized my life!
Very intelligent comment, I agree.
And I want to add
