Yep...but we're setting ourselves up. We keep hearing more and more often about hacking into grids and systems. When a major hack comes...few of the above replacements for the old skills will work. Unfortunately after current generations are "educated", they'll be SOL.
Right now my biggest financial priority is saving for Disney World. I know this may sound like a luxury and pointless to most people, which I can kind of agree. But I recently found out my boyfriend is going down there for a conference, so the hotel is free for me to tag along. It will be a budget trip because I don't have a lot of wiggle room for it, but it is a priority because I love Disney and I don't know when I'll get the opportunity again.
1, 6, 7, 8, 11 and 15 are my tops! :D I would add a atomizer filled with water (the one we use to make clothes wet before ironing, at least i do) in your bag on a sunny day. Whenever it gets too hot - you can just spray water all around you and it costs almost nothing :)
Hi there! Great article you have, I would also want to share my thoughts that Meditation indeed has positive effects not only in the body but also in the mind, a total holistic wellness that brings us to know our inner-self better. It gives us a peace of mind that helps us have a much better perception about our lives.
Our advocacy is to promote the positive effects of meditation, yoga and inner wellness.
What should I know before buying a home? Here are some tips that could save you a lot of time, money and trouble. Plan ahead. Establish good credit and save as much as you can for the down payment and closing costs. Get pre-approved online before you start looking. Not only do real estate agents prefer working with pre-qualified buyers; you will have more negotiating power and an edge over homebuyers who are not pre-approved.
Right now my top financial priority is paying off my student loan. The balance is modest, but I'm in school again and don't want the debt to snowball or become unmanageable. In fact, I really like the idea of no debt and lots of financial freedom. After the student loan is paid, I'd like to focus on saving more for retirement and a home.
Since paying off all my CC debt earlier this year my #1 priority is increasing my emergency fund. My other goal is to save more for a vacation early next year.
These articles blow my mind. I really wish when these articles were written the authors included where in the country they live. I have been struggling to keep our grocery budget under control for a family of 3 and I cannot see how to get it under $100 dollars even without organic dairy, meat or produce. Granted I live in one of the more expensive places in the country. We don't eat processed foods so it's hard to use coupons to save money as there are rarely ever coupons on meat and raw fruits and vegetables. Kudos to all the families that are able to pull this off! I wish I knew the secrets
definitely i need to repair my credit. my name is VERY common. almost as bad as "jane smith" so for me i am angry that my credit report has many errors, showing me supposedly living places i've never even been. serious errors like this drive me batty. at least if i had bad credit, i want it to be really MY credit. so yeah, i'm on a hellfire mission to get the flatout wrong person's credit woes off my report!
I found having a warm drink after I get up really helps. I have never liked coffee or tea so it was never a habit of mine to have warm drinks. (I tend to drink my caffeine cold as in soda.) Well after a pharmacist recommended a hot drink to help with congestion, I tried hot cocoa. It really helped. While it could be only in my mind, it seems to help more earlier in the day than in the evening.
My top financial goal is paying off debt starting with my car and ending with my student loans :) It's my priority because I recognized a month or two ago that I could have $1,000 in my pocket if I weren't paying for credit cards and student loans and my car.
Alongside that I want to save more money and invest!
My top priority is saving money for travel. I am 58, single, have no family to speak of and all my friends are married with families. Traveling is something I LOVE and look forward to. I don't want to envy my friends, I want to make a great life for myself.
Getting out of debt! Both my husband and I have quite a bit of student loan debt from attending a private college and we are working hard to pay off as much as we can as quickly as we can while sticking with our budget to make that happen.

Cramer isn't one I would go to for advice. The "pearls" listed are the same gems that every other expert on personal finance offers. Nothing new here.
Save more in cash to buy a rental

I am trying to build up my retirement fund. I wish I would have started this in my 20s. I also save money each year to travel somewhere.

My top financial priority is increasing my income stream ASAP.
Paying off my student loans from graduate school and saving for a wedding top my priority list!
top priority is saving for retirement

Saving for retirement!
Great suggestion, Guest! I'll keep him in mind for upcoming articles about strong performing investors.

My top financial priority is probably paying off my mortgage. I bought my first house a year and a half ago. I don't have any other debts.
Saving money so I can retire early someday.
I am working on two goals right now: saving for an emergency fund and getting out of debt.
