An added tactic to what Nora says is to have a mortgage offset facility. I'm in Australia, I assume Nora is in USA .... don't know if you have these. Anyway what you do is put all your pay/income into your mortgage. This reduces your debt ... the interest is calculated on the daily balance. Then on the day you need to pay your credit card transfer $$ from mortgage to credit card bill.
My favorite cashback site is rebatecodes They have a great site, the best cashback rates, and their referral program is the best because they pay 10% of every referrals' earnings for the life of the account. They also have a browser extension that totally automates the process plus ads icons to google search that tell you what stores give cashback.
I have an iPhone 5S and a MacBook Air. LOVE them. They are definitely more expensive but they're worth it because they're virtually hassle-free compared to other products. They're reliable. They're simple. They're all I will ever buy again because everything else isn't worth the trouble. You get what you pay for.
My husband and. I both own iPhones and iPads. We also have one MacBook Pro. I hesitated buying apple products due to the price; however, for our lifestyles and family, Apple products are the way to go!
Have had an AIR (11") for several years and really like it. I switched from a nokia Lumia (Windows phone - please don't laugh) to an iPhone 5 because I was frustrated at the lack of apps for Windows phones. i like it much better though it took some getting used to.
If you like to calculate, try calculating the 8 to 10% sales tax you paid for the items charged, then calculate up to maybe 33% income tax you paid to get the after-tax money to make the payments on the items, and then calculate up to 8% inflation (lost purchasing power) per year on the before-tax amount, and you could also add in a lost-opportunity cost for maybe buying something else that might have inflated in value, etc. Then you can multiply this whole shebang by the number of years it takes you to pay off the debt.
Then reach for the aspirin...
How is it fraud? The other person caused monetary damage to your net worth, and you were compensated for it. It doesn't matter if you reinvest it in the same car or in the stock market or some other way. All the insurance money does is make you whole monetarily speaking.
Very disappointed to see you discouraging people from purchasing locally & sustainably raised meat! There's this thing called a freezer that folks can put their freshly purchased meat into as soon as they get home. I guarantee the meat your local farmer is selling at the market is MUCH fresher than the stuff at the grocery store, and a whole lot more love and care went into the raising of those animals.
Federal and state laws related to the dispensing of a hearing aid are currently in place to protect and ensure consumer safety. While you do need a membership to purchase a hearing aid, you don't need one to have a hearing test.
Please review the Federal Trade Commission website at http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0168-buying-hearing-aid for more details. In a nutshell, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requires hearing aid sellers to tell you about your need for a medical examination before you buy a hearing aid.
Also, many states also have laws governing hearing aid sales and implied warranties. Your state Attorney General’s office can tell you what laws apply in your state.
Yes I own both a Macbook and an Ipad. These products are worth the money that you pay for and generally tend to last a while (unless there is some sort of accident).
In the short-term, there should be no adverse affect to your FICO scores, average age of accounts, or the length of your credit history, provided there is no increase in your util% calculations after you close any CC(s). In the long-term, a CC in good standing (nothing derogatory reporting) with a $0 balance will generally be deleted from your CRs (credit reports) after 10 years. Once this account is deleted, you lose the history and age of this TL and this might lower your scores.
