No, I don't own any Apple products. I hope to when my finances have improved.

No, they've never had anything I was too excited about. Although the KonMarie people love the apple boxes to organize drawers.

No Apple products. Samsung 5s phone & Toshiba notebook. Apple costs 3 to 4 Times more with no obvious big benefits. Unless you are a millionaire you should not buy Apple products, it will negatively hold you back in saving for college, vacation & retirement.

Great recommendations in 9 Money-Saving Food Hacks! I didn't ever think about freezing wine! I've tried doing coffee ice cubes, and it works great!

I recently wrote an article, "5 Tasty Tricks to Reduce How Much Meat You Eat," which offers some more great advice on how to reduce how much you spend on food, while not having to sacrifice using meat as part of your cooking.

Yes, I own an Apple iPad, & plan on purchasing an iPhone in the near future. Yes, I am happy with my iPad, it's opened up a new world for me.

    I don't own any, nor will I.

I own a Macbook Pro and an iPhone. I'm very happy with both. I'm trying to convince my parents to get iPads because my mother is constantly dealing with viruses on her computer (which she only uses for email and some games.) The last PC I had got wiped twice due to viruses. I didn't want the hassle, plus paying for help costs a lot! My Apple products might have been a larger upfront investment, but less hassle in the long run.

I don't have any Apple products. My smart phone is from Samsung; tablet is Toshiba and laptop is HP. I have no problems with any of my "toys" and don't see the need to spend all that money on a name.

  • 10 Things You Should Never Buy at the Dollar Store (and 10 You Should)   10 years 49 weeks ago

I completely disagree with including soda on the "Things to Avoid" list. I buy 3-liter bottles of (offbrand) soda for $1. I don't know of any other stores that sell 3-liters of soda, and if they do, I doubt it has a price of $1.

I have Apple products and love them! I had so many issues with my old PC that I said next time it broke, I'd be getting a MacBook and I went from there. Same thing with my Android phones. I received an iPad for Christmas one year and have iPhones for a few years now. They all integrate so seamlessly that I can't imagine switching to something else now. They work well together, have a lot less issues than my old PC and Android and I've been very happy with their service.

I have a Macbook, an iPod nano, and an iPhone 6. I love the products, but whenever it comes time to buy a new device I am always torn between the less expensive products (but equally as good, I'm sure) and spending the ridiculous amount of $ for a new apple device. I'd like to maybe veer off the Apple path next time, but it's hard when Apple has established itself as such a status symbol and ubiquitous electronics company.

  • Are You Smarter Than Your Sibling? (Your Birth Order Might Provide the Answer)   10 years 49 weeks ago

I have an only well she is fabulous, she had many friends from big families that wanted to trade with her all the time, no thank you she would say about huge families, always squabbling and fighting and no food at the end of the table she only stayed half the night at their homes, no thank you she would say..She was rotten spoiled as she was the only girl grandchild for about 23 years and loved it even though her grandma was poor as hell she always remembered her and so did her hell raising uncles and boy cousins who adored her, she was like the leader of these older cousins and they adored her for sure, they married and divorced and had one girl in one cousin family and many boys in another still crazy for her..She is fine with being single and prefers what she wants when she wants and is so particular, just the way she likes it..First borns and only children are the way to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 9 Times You Should Demand a Refund   10 years 49 weeks ago

I reserved a 2 night stay package at a local casino hotel and stayed one night. I have a mobility problem and when I travel alone I rent a scooter from the hotel. They did not have scooters but offered wheel chairs. Since I was alone I tried just getting around with my cane. It was very painful and tiring, so I left the next morning, while I could still drive. The hotel offered a one day package and I thought I would be charged THE ONE DAY RATE SINCE I RETURNED THE VOUCHERS FOR THE 2ND DAY. The hotel charged the 2day rate on my charge card, I called the number for customer service and got voicemail. I left my number and referenced my concerns but my call was not returned.

We own two iMac desktop computers and a mac powerbook laptop. We've had them for years. iPhones are too expensive and we don't need or want all the time-sucking apps.

  • Ask the Readers: Do You Own Apple Products?   10 years 49 weeks ago

We're an almost entirely Apple product family with the exception of a few Android gadgets. I own a MacBook pro, iphone, ipod touch, few other ipods and an ipad. I don't think I can go back to a PC. Once you integrate all Apple products, they work seamlessly. Never had issues with viruses or downloading files. They also last me a long time, at least 5-6 years before having to upgrade to the latest one. The only time I upgrade is when the current OS doesn't work with the latest hardware.

I have 2 apple ipods (touch and a nano). They are the only good music players around but I much prefer android over apple any day, especially for phones and tablets.

Yes, I own an iphone and a macbook.

I like Apple products - my first two computers were a Macintosh and a Powerbook. But I buy for utility and simplicity, and I find that my Android smartphone and Chromebook fill my personal needs perfectly well.

  • Ask the Readers: Do You Own Apple Products?   10 years 49 weeks ago

I'm an Apple loyalist! I've own an iPod Touch 3rd gen & 5th gen, iPhone 4 & 5s, Macbook (White) & Macbook Pro, iPod Nano 6th gen, iPad Mini & iPad 2, and an Apple Watch! My whole family uses Apple products too. I'm only lacking an iMac to complete my collection. Lol! But seriously, I wouldn't consider anything else.

  • 12 Money Adjustments You Should Make Mid-Year   10 years 49 weeks ago

I always question the advice to bank savings or half the savings. Rebates and the like makes sense to bank. However, a reduction in price isn't so easy. For some people, they are really buying something greater than they can afford without the discount. If that is the case, then I question whether there really is a savings. If not, these people would have to cut further to find savings. That cut could hurt. If it is something the person would and could buy anyway, then there is savings and it can be banked.

Reality has to be part of any plan. We cannot assume that a reduction in price is always a savings (especially if the product was overpriced to begin with).
