If you are not winning you need to learn what you are doing wrong. Don't think you can enter just once for a daily sweep and expect to win something, can happen, but highly unlikely. I'm a sweeper and very proud to admit it. I win all the time. Don't believe me go here. thesweepstakessouthernbelle
Hmmm..... I've six of those skills in the last month. I think driving a manual transmission is a very useful skill and being able to read a paper map is almost an essential skill when I travel and want to get the big picture or look at interesting side trips. It's especially useful as a cross check to digitized maps.
I enjoyed the article and found it to be very informative. I do agree that is a major factor in marketing your business, there is such a large audience on Facebook, twitter, etc, that you would truly be missing out if your business didn't not have one. I also use a great digital marketing company, and I've seen great results.
I feel better seeing that I'm not alone in stocking spaghetti sauce, canned chicken broth, and canned beans as pantry staples. I often cook batches of pinto beans in the crockpot and freeze them, but sometimes a can of beans comes in real handy. (One of my go-to quick meals is beans on toast.) However, I rarely buy grated cheese (#1). Instead, when I grate cheese in the food processor, I grate extra for later use. Same applies for bacon bits (#7) When cooking bacon, I cook extra, crumble it and freeze for when I only need a spoonful.
I had the same result. I am type 2 diabetic and have been for almost 16 years. 8 of those I was able to control it with diet alone no pills but eventually ended up on pills. I had surgery in 2011 and lost almost 30 pounds as a result. I have had a harder time controlling my levels since I lost the weight and added exercise to my routine. It either drops super low or shoots sky high.
I am sending a card today and will call on Sunday. I am also picking up some of his favorite snacks for a gift I can give him when I see him later this month!
I don't attend many weddings, graduations or other functions I find the people rude and uncaring..Really, if I go to any of these with a gift I would think the recipients would say thank you and I don't mean an e-mail...Many have no manners in this world their parents never taught them spit about being a grateful or even mannerly person..I gave a nice gift for a college graduation I have never received a thank you at all, I gave a relative a lovely wedding gift actually 2 and never received as much as a thank you the dad of the son mentioned he never sent out one thank you I thought what the you know what..I even sent the wedding photos to him and his wife they are still married never heard one word, that was it for me..My aunt used to send lots of tiny presents when my mother (her only sibling) was dying of cancer to all of us in our family..I absolutely had to write out a thank you while my Mom was barely hanging on, she thought it was over the moon for her beloved sister to give so much when she was struggling to live..No I think most people think their kids have manners but they don't and most adults don't have any either so I just skip celebrations!
We always have a family get together for Fathers day! All the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids to go my mom and dads! We always grill and let all the kids play! Everyone brings cards for Dad....and just enjoy spending time together talking about family memories! Always makes us smile...and laugh :)
Although this was a very helpful and informative but in my opinion nothing beat the good ol' natural recipes such olive, coconut oil and honey. But this is just me
I am making my husband his favorite meal and giving him chocolate and pictures of his little girl. I made my dad a custom photo mug with pictures of his granddaughter on it that reads " I Love Grandpa"!
My hubby usually chooses and ice cream sundae for his Father's Day treat, but this year it's a pie! He loves blueberry pie, so that's what we're getting him. My dad? He'll get a nice phone call and maybe some of that pie!
My husband gets his favorite dish--fettuccine al fredo, which I rarely make for obvious reasons. When our kids were small, we loved the special projects and handmade cards they brought from school. Now that they are grown, we care very little about Mothers and Fathers Day. Happily, our adult kids are loving and appreciative enough throughout the year, without the artificiality of a special day. And they should save their money instead of buying things for us.
Good tips - especially #3 (Going Full Retirement Because You Think You Have To). See your "old age" as an opportunity to do something you wanted to do before but couldn't or learn a new skill.

We use those all the time at my house. Excellent for a chicken and sausage gumbo!
