I'm a non-smoker, vegetarian, but I'm not sure I'd call that healthy with all of the snacking I do. The healthiest thing I currently do is to run at least a couple of times a week.
Another great choice is the Stand Steady standing desk, which I use! It is pretty inexpensive and sits on top of your desk so you can stand even if you have a cubicle www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C344VMY
While we might not all be millionaires (not that I have an issue with not being one ever in my life), we can do many things for us and our families if he just put our minds to it. Hard work and dedication can really take us a long way.
Jerica! So glad you wrote! I checked out that link and that looks SO FUN. I like the additional suggestions of stuff to try adding in, like cilantro or cloves. Wonder if we can get juniper berries here? :-)
After 10 years of chronic illness left me at 290 lbs, I’m working to reincorporate my old healthy habits. I’m working to end the emotional eating due to depression with help of a support group. I try to prepare more meals ahead to avoid eating out when feeling exhausted. I’m walking more and more every week. I restarted my weight training. I’m also planning some rewards like a visit to the swimming pool at the gym or walking on local hiking trails with new friends. I may not be able to do the entire hike, but I can go a ways and enjoy the views and company.
It's true. Age does matter. Employers have told me on the phone that, based on my resume, they are very interested in me. After the interview, I get the usual "We will let you know within a week." I never hear from them. I cover my gray hair, but I can't afford a face lift so I'll look young enough to suit.
I'll like this article. I'm a fan of not trying so hard to make a little more money, instead trying to spend less. Sort of like it's easier to lose weight by changing your diet a little bit rather than exercising a whole lot more. For me, I've never had a gym membership nor a car. I ride my bicycle everywhere. I know it's geeky and sometimes you show up sweaty or rain-drenched, but man do I save the bucks. Keeps me healthy too, saving me money on doctor bills, assuming I never get in a major accident - there's risk in everything right!
My New Year's resolution for 2013 was to develop healthier habits so I walk daily, floss my teeth, eat lots of vegetables and fruits and take fish oil supplements as well as vitamin D.
We shop for car insurance about once a year. So far Geico has been the best for us. We have our umbrella policy though them, as well. As far as the traits of millionaires, even wannabees, we drive our vehicles into the ground. We do not use the things we purchase as status symbols. We purchase things either because we need them (e.g., food) or because they make our lives better.
We belong to a csa so get fresh veggies for the whole summer and fall season's.

Nice tips Kate! When did you realize you became a millionaire and did things start feeling different once you were?
Way to be a jerk about it.
We're not guilty to insult the gift giver and if you are insulted by your gift causing guilt, you're not a good person, period.
Well, you were the inspiration, you crafty thing, you. And yes, you must!
