Now a days if you show up to a financial institution with an unexplained wad of cash, all your accounts can be frozen and your cash can be taken in asset forfeiture. Even if they can never convict you of a crime, authorities can take your assets legally in a civil procedure against the asset. Unfair but true.
One such purchase I made was when I bought an above ground swimming pool. I did some research and found one that was about $100 less than retail, but it was still around $600. What I didn't consider was the mimosa tree growing above the site where would put the pool. Mimosa trees are known for dropping a lot of debris. We swam in the pool two or three times and then it became apparent that we couldn't keep it clean. Now the pool sits in our storage building and I would prefer to have the $600 cash.
I called Costco to ask about Optical services, the person in optical said non-members can get exams but you have to be a member to purchase glasses or contacts.
I think a timeshare is a waste if you don't use it. My motivation to buy a timeshare was when taking vacation with my husband and 3 small children and staying in one hotel room was horrible. Five people in one hotel room and using one bathroom is no vacation. I have been a timeshare owner for 26 years. I have been to places under normal circumstances I could not afford. My children are now adults. I gave one of my children a week of the timeshare for his wedding gift and honeymoon . My sister and her family have shared a timeshare unit with me. If you owned a second home in a resort area the cost and maintenance would exceed the cost of a timeshare. I would also like to add that I do not and never worked for a timeshare company.
I really like reallybigsavings. The reason I like this site so much is that rarely do I find a code that does not work. Nothing is more annoying than plugging in coupon code after coupon code to find one that finally works. Another thing I like is that when a coupon code expires, you don't see it anymore. Great site!
The mentioning other interviews part actually helped me. I let the interview know the highest offer that I had on the table, and they countered it with a higher offer, which I took.
I've been with LinkedIn since the beginning, I've never gotten a job through them. Heck, I've not even landed an interview through them.
Sense of direction and a compass are useful skills when you are in the wilderness.
Memorization - it's still faster to get info from your brain than google/your phone. Especially if you are with a discount carrier!
Spelling - my phone's autocorrect makes way more spelling mistakes than i do. It comes up with some very entertaining guesses as to what I am trying to type. "The" became "thirteen strawberries" just yesterday. I had to backspace over it and type "The" 3 times before it got the hint.
Why not just do scheduled maintenance at the dealer? They have the parts you need, know what they are doing, and deal prices have come way down in recent years to make them competitive.
I'm fairly new to baking , but have always loved the sourdough items we bought in San Diego. I'm really looking forward to making a starter and making breads and rolls.
Hey, the comments you are trying to make tells us that you would rather things be the same than to have improvement.
If humanity had thinked like you, we will be in the stone age or perhaps even live like animals for ever because of our reluctance to improve. Perhaps you should go live in a cave or on top of a tree ?
Author of this article is just simply telling us it's ok when our youngsters grow up without handwriting skills, without ability to read even paper map( when my cell gave up on me I did use old style paper map). Another highly sophisticated and highly educated person with lack of experience and empathy for other people. They are not only young, beautiful, self-centred people, they are also people in their 30-40 and up who grew up with handwriting and also they are old folks who are in assisted living pl. and nursing homes who don't use internet or any of that, they use handwriting, if still can. When Tv was invented they forecast end of radio era. Thank God it did not happened:) So I take it with reserve. Good luck to you in your instant world.
Rent is always my biggest expense!
Even for a woman:
#3 = Standing there with, uh, "IT" in one's hands.
Give me news
Im surprised no one mentioned the great price for their cut flowers and roses. Also their plants/shrubs/bulbs
when they have them!

Yes, that's correct. NJ law says you can't have members only gas stations.

Our mortgage, but hopefully next month it will be a fence!

Great tips! Thank you!

Oh good grief, she bought onions, carrots, bell peppers, cauliflower, and broccoli--very healthy and nutrient dense vegetables.

I agree with 3 and 9. Especially 9.

Student loans. We had some extra income, and we were able to throw a little over 3K toward that debt.
daycare was the biggest expense this month

Our biggest expense this month has by far been for education. One "child" is in college ( freshman ) and one is in the 7th grade at a private school.

Nice way to save money

My biggest expense this month was transportation. I am a commuter.
Agreed 100%
