It depends on what you term a "sport". I love to kayak and do it when I can, but it is a seasonal thing (especially in Northern Michigan!) but otherwise, I don't care for playing sports... I'm a little too competitive. But I'm not really fond of playing, but I do enjoy watching.
I don't play sports currently. I played sports in little league, high school then college! I loved playing soccer all those years. I learned that it doesn't matter if you're good or not, it only matters if you commit, grow and make sure you have a good spirit!
Velouté (vel-oo-tay) is a sauce made with a white (clear) liquid such as chicken stock, broth or fish stock and thickened with a roux (roo). This article says the veloute is thickened with the stock, which is not the case, the stock is further-thickened with the roux.
The average home price in Inglewood is a little over $400,000 so you could possibly find a small condo or fixer-upper there for $250K. (With the new stadium going in, I suspect that home values will soon go way up in this area too). The Westside has always been expensive and the tech industry has only made it more so. Mr. Spendypants commutes from North East LA to Playa Vista every day for work. He carpools so this makes the commute less horrible. If commuting isn't for you, then is Los Angeles real estate really where you want to put your money? Could you buy a rental property outside of Los Angeles, and use the income from that to subsidize your high rent? I would have a frank conversation with your real estate agent and accountant and get all your investment options.
Yes! Excellent point! I should have used a more neutral word like "watching" to as opposed to "babysitting" to describe the job of taking care of a group of children that contain your own kids! Thanks for this comment.
This article was written for people that aren't 'real cooks'. It's simple, encouraging and less intimidating than your onion & spices suggestion. Everyone has to start somewhere and a bagged salad is better than a Big Mac.
I can't cook, I don't know where to start and it's overwhelming. This article, for me, is 10/10
I casually play disc golf, primarily with my boyfriend and sometimes with other friends. Sports have been a part of my life for many years, and in that time I've learned to have a short term memory. Evaluate your mistakes enough to learn from them, and confidently move on to the next task!
Dear Ms. Lang
Obviously you have never travelled to any Asian or Southamerican country where citronella, better known as lemon grass is widely used in culinary, herbal remedies and beauty treatments. It is always a good idea to have your own as there are lots of uses for it not only to repeal mosquitoes.

I played soccer, basketball, football, tennis, and baseball when I was younger. I now play casually with friends and pickup games. The biggest lesson I learned throughout the years is to take care of your body with proper stretching and core strengthening. It's not the most exciting thing to do but it's worth maintainng good flexibility and core strenth as it will help promote body resiliency during play and longevity as we age.
No, unless yoga is a sport. (It's not...)

Hello, I'm a Muay Thai Kickboxer and I also weight lift.
I run and participate in races, but I'm not sure if that counts. I've seen a lot of great human spirit in races!

A little volleyball, plus I'm soon going to be biking to work :)

It is really true that Kitchen towel is very essential for a kitchen chef so thank you for sharing post on this.
I don't play sports. I do exercise.
I don't really play any sports. I used to as a child but just got busy plus I have no one to play with!

I don't play any sports, I never did. I am just starting to enjoy watching sports, but that is more for the social aspect than the actual sport.
