No way would I work for a fruity company like Uber! On of their drivers killed six people in Michigan earlier this year. They don't allow Uber drivers or their passenger to carry firearms even if you have a licence to do so.
This is what cab and livery companies are for. Uber is nothing more but a scab outfit taking jobs from professionals!
Hi everybody! I just believe in getting good produce like carrots, onions, garlic, sweet potatoes, kale, cabbage. Fresh eggs, chicken, shrimp (only when it's B1G1) and a steak once a month. Frozen chicken breasts I buy and boil then fine grind it with minced celery for the best chicken salad. Potato salad and mac salad go a long way too. It is usually about 125 month though.
I love this article. When you have a goal and you're committed to it, you will go all out to reach it. A few months ago I set a goal to save an extra $300 in one month. I cut back, did extra jobs and saved all of my coins and I was successful.
Shop at dollar stores, use coupons, shop during tax free week and look for the best deals before heading out. Our shopping list was full of supplies(paper, pens, pencils, notebooks, tissue, disinfecting wipes & more), clothes, lunch boxes and backpacks.
Haha! I'm so glad I'm not the only person who's thought of this option! Just got a "new" car and the paint job is less than stellar, so I've been thinking of options to make it look a little spiffier.
Don't get carried away running out and buying new everything. Look at what is left from last year. Clean up the book bag and the gym stuff. Something new for the first day to wear with your favorite comfy jeans is good.
people that don't merge!!! they stay in the lane till it runs out, without regard to other cars. sometimes they stop. they never try to move to the proper lane. sometimes i think they don't know what the word means.
Our back-to-school shopping is probably different than most. Since we're homeschooling, we have to buy curriculum. I found going through a distributor rather than through the curriculum website saves us quite a bit.
My tip is to consider less than typical stores for back to school items. Some drug stores and grocery stores have some great deals on school items that beat office supply stores. By combining some of my local grocery store's digital coupons with printed coupons, I was able to get some basic supplies for free or nearly free.
i don't need to do back to school shopping but if i did, i would check what we have already at home before making a list of what i would actually need. and hit up on the sales.
Swap clothes & gently used school supplies w/friends (esp. binders) You can also reuse prior ones. We always get free pens w/the 50/1 BIC coupons. We buy notebooks at Walmart for .17 and stock up for the year. Staples usually have alot of free paper deals. So, we don't buy computer paper often.
My horror story (at least at the time it was!) had to do with a Sears account. I signed up for an account with them and planned to buy a large $5000 item. After a couple of weeks, I went in and paid $3000 of it, just to make myself feel better. Then I got a bill for a payment due. I didn't care because I knew my $3000 payment would cover any month by month bill they would give me. Only it didn't. I went in later to pay the rest of the item off and they told me I owed them this huge bill because it was a lot of money and I had missed a payment. When I showed proof I had paid just 2 week previously, he was going to "check". He came back and said I was so unfortunate because I had paid on the one day it wasn't going to show up on that month's account. He said that it was the day that money was transferred from one place to another and even though the calendar said it was one month, it wasn't going to be written down in that month, it would be written down in the month before so I owed them another payment. I know this doesn't make sense, but he explained it to me three times and it never made sense. This was someone just taking money from a customer. I asked if he meant that there was a day per month that this was always going to happen and he said yes. He took the money and I paid off the item and closed the account and told him I would NEVER deal with them again. He just shrugged. I paid $3000 it was not enough, according to him. I knew it was someone finding an excuse to take more money. What a terrible racket.
I use tax free shopping days and shop sales.
I like to check out the clearance section of stores after school has already started for significant mark downs.
I used number 4. to pick up some new skills that I was able to use on the job. I highly recommend!
I stock up when there is a sale throughout the summer so I am ready when school starts.

I check out the sales ads and combine sales with coupons.

Check out yard sales and Goodwill for all sorts of good deals. Back packs, pencil boxes, jeans and many other items can be found if you look for them

Thanks for the motivation!
Coupons! And buy in bulk whenever possible.

Sales, sales, sales.

Many very mentally disturbed drivers nowadays are on the road more than ever unfortunately.

I look for good sales not just for back to school but throughout the whole year.

I always buy extra when it's on sale.
