Excellent points. We all need to take responsibility for our work and our actions. We can't control anything but our own actions, and we can work on improving out attitude towards our work. If everyone worked on improving in these areas, we'd all have better work environments.
"You Won't Do Anything Beyond Your Job Description" Maybe if companies paid people better they would be more likely to help with other thing but I hear companies say all he time the "you get what you pay for." Maybe the employers should think about that statement when they constantly ask for more work for no additional pay. When you are already paying someone less than a living wage, you don't deserve more work out of that employee. This list is pathetic and assumes that an employer is fair which there isn't one that is fair.
No, my vote will not be affected by these ideas. I can't vote for Donald Trump because of how I see his character, the threat he poses to our country and our people, and life itself. If he were a valid candidate and possessed a minimum level of decency and integrity, I would think his undisclosed policies would benefit our household more than Hillary's. I do not agree with different levels of taxation; I believe in a 7 percent tax on everyone - and no H&R Block needed. No write-offs and no games. I also believe in single-payer/universal health care, which would never come under a Hillary presidency, as she profits tremendously from the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries. I think Donald Trump would be the more likely one to implement universal health care or other "socialist" policies. Of course, we already have a form of socialism inherent in how America does capitalism; for instance, we do not need free college, because it has been highly subsidized or free for decades. Doesn't everyone know about "professional" students? Higher education is highly overrated, obviously, because some people are not college material.
My vote (or lack thereof, after never missing any voting opportunity since age 18 - decades) will be based on conscience. In this current ugly, defining political scene in the USA, I have seen only 2 candidates that I could vote for - and those are Bernie Sanders and John Kasich.
I'm told that mortgage lenders cannot consider your age in determining whether to grant you a loan. That does not mean that YOU shouldn't consider your age. My older brother just turned 65, next April he reaches full retirement age for SS - and as of right now he owes 19 years on his mortgage with a payment that far exceeds what his SS check would be. Just because you have the right to put yourself deep in hock prior to retirement age doesn't mean it's a wise option to take.
ohfb.com (one hundred free books) has a large collection of the free promo books, and the list is updated daily. A lot of new Kindle books are offered free for limited periods (a week or less) and once you claim them it's yours. Often, first book in a series is offered free as well. Hate their web design though. Just scroll all the way to bottom and click on "free books". You'll get a lot of recipe books, romance novels, craft books, and so on, but there are occasional gems.

In general, developing countries will always offer better interest rates than developed which are struggling to grow. I live in one of these OECD countries with an annual interest rate of just 1% = pointless therefore I ship my earnings out to X developing country (most people in the OECD would frown upon and run away from that idea) where I get an annual 15% - and everyone who talks without grounds of safety and security and stability in these countries is really the loser at the end of the day. I agree with some of the commenters, that while these stories are good and inspiring to hear, they aren't the most realistic. Most inspiring one for me was probably Kate who was working as much as 117 hours a week! That's hustle, and definitely a lot more hustle than I have been doing. But the others --- 2 of them put inheritance money toward debt, not exactly something I can just plan for!
The Overdrive App and your library card are a great way to get free ebooks. Although there is a waiting list for super popular titles, I have gotten quite a few new releases immediately.
My best investment was my husband's college - it was important for our marriage (supporting him emotionally and taking on more responsibility in the household while he was doing schoolwork) and his his career that he was able to do that.
my best investment was deciding to go to college.
My best investment is rental properties.
My best investment has been my house.
I bought a townhouse and sold it a year later for a 20% profit.

I'll take one please! Thanks for great giveaway!
how about a daycare worker? You do nothing but either kiss butts or wipe them for dirt pay.
Marrying a sensible man who has become a financial partner, not a liability.

Thanks for having such a nice giveaway. Would definitely use the money towards paying off debt, which would ease my mind.
