Hi Claire Millard,
I really get amazed to read this., you were absolutely right , If we commute by car, we're probably spending a decent amount on gas, as well as adding wear and tear to our vehicle, and Commuting via public transportation isn't that much fun, either. It might save you gas money, but you're swapping that for longer travel times and being surrounded by crowds of stranger. you told us about Buy and Sell on eBay, Coach Online, etc Given so much info in it, i really appreciate you for sharing this post.
If you were all smart you would just lease the damn things 0 down and only use factory lease cash FREE MONEY GUYS. NO MONEY OUT OF POCKET.
Oh and i have sold cars before everyone doesn't get the best deal PERIOD. its called credit you don't know how to manage your money and pay your bills and get the rates to get things cheap and you want someone else to pay half of it. LOLOLOLOL.
those of you with money, hahahahaha get over yourselves.
keep reading articles although your couple of current sales reps that have responded are 100% CORRECT Give respect, be fair. They are in the customer service side now, not the rip you off deal after deal and make tons of money, yes some do but allot dont make more than your average living. And frankly they are allowed that for all they do.
Don't listen to the dinner companion. You're happy pursuing your dream and although it may make less money, if you balance the credit cards right you can reduce the amount of interest. I restructure our household debt all the time. If it's not 0-1% I'll find a way to make it. I'm a tutor and writer, and I love the free-time and the ability to travel and take off when I need/want to without worrying about a two week annual limit. Just learn to work with balance transfers and stocks that pay dividends and you'll be golden. Good luck!
I use to be a union delegate and many, many times sat in at performance reviews of employees who were given the 3 warnings treatment. Sometimes it was justified but in most cases I dealt with it was simply done out of pettiness and spite. A personality clash gone too far or an insecure manager that doesn't appreciate being exposed for ineptitude and nepotism. Most of the people I represented were hard working folk that stood up for themselves or their coworkers and most companies don't stand for that kind of resilience. Recently I started a new job which required 4 weeks of preliminary training. After completion it was straight into the job and straight into a manager you had just met. This guy was the type of manager that uses your probation period as a threat if you don't subscribe to his micro managing ways. It took one clash with me on the first day for him to begin his machinations behind the scenes to set me up to fail. I'd seen it all before and my instinct was very good. I jumped out of the water the moment I felt it warm. I didn't give him the satisfaction of humiliating me in front of my colleagues which he had planned. Most bosses I've come across are cowards that hide behind the process. Their power is not built on respect but fear. The real fear of losing one's livelihood. The sad part for me and the company concerned was that I loved the job and I was very good at it. That isn't enough to keep it though.
Since last Sunday was father's day I passed to read this article and everything it said is true about it, I identificate myself in number 8 with never shop with an empty stomach (I always do that) and its a nightmare too!
In addition to number 2, I think that the best jobs are the ones you are in love with them and compromised with yourself, being open to every situation life gave you and be happy with it.
I have fun reading this article, thanks for sharing.
My best investments have been the adoption fees I paid to get two dogs from the shelter and give them forever homes. It has given us love, companionship, and days filled with shenanigans that I wouldn't trade for anything.

If an employee is doing these things, then the work is boring and mind numbing. The company deserves to go out of business.
I know I'm supposed to say "my education" or whatever but it's my house. It doubled in price in less than three years and now I own two houses.
My best investment was buying our house
