I was watching Dirties Jobs, they were making rum. The used a process to heat the wash in a similar fashion to the aluminum pressure cooker idea. The created safe steam and used that to heat the wash faster! I liked it, think I will have to make it now that I see someone else spent the money to experiment with it.
I like having a desktop computer. I recently got a new tower and key board, along with the mouse. I can change parts, so if a part breaks down, I don't have to take the whole thing to get fixed. I like that it won't easily fall off, and I have the printer connected for convenience.
I only buy things that are on sale. I hate paying full price for anything. I patronize websites that sell at a discount and I always try to get free shipping. I take advantage of coupons sent to me by retailers that I use. I once bought 3 new skirts for $12.80 including shipping!
It's a fact that many establishments make big profits on their beverages more than almost everything else. I usually get a good old tap water with ice and a lemon. Save's at least a $6.00 tab on any meals i eat out on. I occasionally have a red wine though as at least it has some health benefits vs. soda.
I just want to refinance. Thats it. Never late, 850+ credit score and nobody will refinance. Thats the problem. F the banks. I owe $86,000 house appr $72,000. Obama has done nothing for the country. Really I want to lower my rate and go to a 15 year and I am a risk, BS!
I used credit card rewards to get enough points to get five nights at hotels when my fiance and I go back to California for our wedding and before and after our cruise in Hawaii.
I'm not getting paid to say this in the least, but I just had to share since I like it so much! I bought one about a year ago for around $30 because it had great reviews on walmart.com (doesn't look like they carry this model anymore) and it's worked better for me than a lot of the $100-range models I've tried. Some caveats to be aware of: it doesn't have any attachments, no adjustable floor height, and the cord's not very long. BUT for those who are trying to save $$$, it's well-made and does the job great!
I have to agree with you Dave thats why when I was writing my response I stated something like. We are both humans its likely to happen.... and then focus on something more positive like...but my boss was a great motivator who encouraged good performance and constructive critisisms, so I would much rather focus on that than pointless conflicts.
---even if your boss was count dracula you get to admit that there have been conflicts but you come off looking good saying so.
I cant wait to try this. I having trouble with my surgar and going to a low sugar gluten free diet. A little sugar is ok. I am working on diet to bring my elevated levels down. I have always been a fan of brown rice flour and will be using this flour in this recipe
I'm with Andrea, I've used ACvinegar and only end up with my stomach hurting more. But my husband has great success with it.
I've soaked orange and lemon rinds in white vinegar for a month and then strain it. I mix it with water and use it as a cleaner around the house. Smells better then just plain vinegar.
I have serious allergies so in 2003 purchased a Sears bagless vacuum ($350) with a hepa filter. Unfortunately, Sears stopped carrying the hepa filter 4 years after I bought the vacuum, making the vacuum useless since it wouldn't run without the filter. My 2007 replacement was one that takes a hepa bag--and I made sure it was a commonly found bag. Keep this in mind when you're shopping--it's usually easier to find a replacement bag than filter.
When I was growing up, my mother would make Easter baskets for the kids and a big Easter platter for the adults. When I was a teen, I took over as the Easter Bunny for my family and continued making a platter.
I love the suggestions above for gift Easter baskets. I'm now in my mid-40's and I still
like to make a small basket in a small decorative bowl for myself. Some years I've made a big one for my church community.
Paper towel rolls are also great for children's craft projects. They can be anything from a castle tower to a laser gun. Free entertainment for my nephew, and nutures his imagination!
The TOTAL damage you are referring to did occur, but not in Chesapeake..... as you stated the flooding primarily took place in other "local" cities. The majority of the major flooding that impacted homes was quite a bit north of Chesapeake.
Well ive been using netspend for over 3 yrs now and the only issue Ive ever had was when they put a hold on my account after a direct deposit of $9,000 in which I had to provide them proof of where the funds were coming from. It was a small inconvenience. I love it and I get my pay check earlier with my card.
I very seldom purchase anything other than normal basic groceries that aren't on sale.Case in point, I did some shopping today- nightgown-50%off, shampoo 30%off, sock -just a good buy and needed them now.Groceries are a challenge to keep up with the prices enough to know what's still a good buy and what isn't .
I just had to get a new suitcase and shoes- waited for sale and had coupons for both.

My teachers always alternated between A-Z and Z-A so no one was made to wait longer than anyone else on average. I thought that was normal?
