This article is encouraging what is known as "polypharmacy" (where you jump from place to place and get prescriptions filled at multiple pharmacies). This makes it harder to catch potential interactions. This is one reason why I hate the fact that healthcare is a business. Whenever I'm personally counseling a patient, I always tell them I don't care where you go to fill the prescriptions, just please go to one pharmacy and stick with them.
I agree with the one guest that my calls have increased since signing with the do not call registry. I just re-registered my numbers. As far as not being rude to them, the hell with that. I cant beleive how rude and cruel some of them are to me. I get harrased "Why wont you give money?" My mom got a call about my sister she told them she was dead, they said "No shes not I jsut talked to her last week" I have them yell at me and tell me and say foul things, sorry but I will be rude. I have my own buisness and I dont call people selling my services. This should outlawed period! I pay good money for phone bill each month and a lot in taxes and this is unfair to me and everyone else. I think we need to petition for a new law agasint these people and orginazations. I even had a caller ask for the youngest member of the household Im like are you nuts? They said it was a surevey regarding kids and gaming I couldnt beleive it. NO! I had one person call me fould names and told me I was bitch cause I wouldnt listen to their speil. I get sometimes 10 calls a day from unknown and unwanted callers. This really has to stop! I tell to put me on the do not call list, it doenst matter cause tomorrow I get more calls from others so it never ends. I mean what controll do I really have as a person with a phone. I think these jobs should be outlawed period!
I appreciate the DIY topic and have had some bookshelves in the back of my find for a year or so. They're for the front room (and for my wife), so it sounds like I'd better try something for my kids room first, to get a better feel for the project.
Keep spreading the "good news" of frugal living. And I appreciate the ideas in the comments. Thanks!
We love camping. If you get a "lake view" hotel you have pay an arm and a leg. Lake view campground <$20. We have not done backpacking yet, slowly getting there. We just came back from a road trip/camping trip, so I was planning to write a post on that but this inspired to make it soon :)
Just to point out that the use of soy is controversial. Research goes back and forth on it being an overall good or a net negative.
For example, from the wiki entry: "Studies on the effects of soy on sperm concentration are equivocal, showing negative effect[83], no effect[84], and positive effect of soy intake versus sperm levels and quality."
83: Chavarro JE, Toth TL, Sadio SM, Hauser R (November 2008). "Soy food and isoflavone intake in relation to semen quality parameters among men from an infertility clinic". Hum Reprod. 23 (11): 2584–90. doi:10.1093/humrep/den243. PMID 18650557. PMC 2721724. http://humrep.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/short/den243v1.
84: Messina M (May 2010). "Soybean isoflavone exposure does not have feminizing effects on men: a critical examination of the clinical evidence". Fertil. Steril. 93 (7): 2095–104. doi:10.1016/j.fertnstert.2010.03.002. PMID 20378106.
So be careful with what you accept as a health food or not.
/After reviewing a host of studies, I avoid most soy but then I am male.
I'm not sure about number 12... "There is no good debt"... Debt that makes you money is good debt... I believe it is called Leverage. Debt that doesn't make you money (like your car loan)... would be bad debt.
Good debt would be something like a mortgage on a revenue property that is making you more money than it costs to service. Positive cashflow properties are a good use of debt.
My idea of ultimate camping is to go to a beautiful campground in a nice RV. That way you can enjoy the great parts of nature, cook outs, scenery, hiking, etc and then come back to your RV and sleep in comfort without the bugs and varments.
We enjoying tent camping! Its a great way to make some amazing memories with your kids. We usually camp at state parks, cook from a small grill and enjoy lots of different activities. Stocking up on items for our trip throughout the year (especially after holiday and season sales) helps us keep cost down.
I've been doing the arm trick for months with great results as well. I haven't changed a blade in about 4 months or so and I shave about 3 times per week. I usually wash my face with a mild soap and warm water before every shave and dry the razor afterwards as suggested. The best part is that I got my razors for free through my girlfriend's clever use of coupons. :)
These are great. I definitely have found that selling some of my excess clutter has really made me a calmer person because there is less stuff in my home.
Wow. I admit, this sounds a little far fetched to me too, but I will definitely try it next time I shower. Having to go through disposable razors certainly adds up.
Hi,
I am a single mother of six children, and need advise on how to budget on a limited weekly income, My income is approx $700 a week out of that $370 goes to rent, $100 goes to paying the car and with the rest i have to feed, clothes, pay electricity, water telephone, petrol and water and whatever else comes up with the kids school. i hear about budgets but how do you budget when you don't make it half the week without needing to buy more food, milk ext.
working is really not an option, as i would have to pay for childcare which is expensive even with government help, example two children just for 3 days would cost me around $150 out of pocket expense, and that's not including the other four. and no i have no family i can ask for help, i need real advise for a real family. please help me, i am lost at what to do,xxxoo
yeah i will tons of turkeys so I save 20 cents, everything I have to do is keep them frozen for a few months. who pays your electricity bill? who saves your earth?
Just wanted to say that before posters start throwing names like "neo-nazi" at folks who want unprocessed foods, those posters should know the meanings of the names they use. I am not opposed to bovine racial integration, so I am not a nazi. I think the same name-calling poster used the term ignorant, and also said he used to work for Horizon. This might be scientific proof that Horizon arbitrarily redefines terms like "organic." But then again, I don't need funded scientific studies to show me that the Creator made cows just fine, and man's genetic and chemical "improvements" of foods are always just contaminants.
Thanks for the information. I'll be sure to take Horizon off all my store shelves.
I don't need synthetic milk from synthetic corporate cows. People who seek wholesome, natural products know why they do it. They don't want to feed themselves, or their children Monsanto tainted foods. The USDA is just a tool of the agri-corporations, and the agricorps have been raping the land and people for decades.
I camped plenty when I was young. My dad led our Boy Scout troop, and we camped all year long. I think that got it out of my system -- I'm much rather scout for cheap hotel rooms now.
I combined my car and home insurance policies and got a really good discount. Since I wasn’t going through an insurance agent, I learnt this trick really late!
Hey have a Logik L19LID648 dvd combi and i want to unlock the dvd player. I cant find code anywhere, does anyone have this player and has it already unlocked?
hello, thanks for so concisely giving all the reasons for saving. its a v comprehensive list and reading it makes me able to verbalise why i believe in savings.

You can't really say you prefer tea if you've only had tea. That said, how is it possoble that you've never tried coffee? What's stopping you?

Set your life time easier take the loans and everything you require.
Do you understand that it's correct time to receive the personal loans, which would realize your dreams.
