I find that an attention-getting ad in www.craigslist.com is the best way to attract buyers. I also keep an email sign-up sheet handy, so that I can send announcements to repeat buyers.
Fruit pulp can also clog the tubes, and cause the still to blow.
strain out pulp before putting in still, and dont overdo fruit in fermenenter as it can clog the blow off tube (voice of experience, glass carboy is now SHRATNEL in sheetrock).
I have try your method and all other methods for one year but i just can't find a way out. I am stuck and stress. I can't able to solve problem like losing weight, financial, coping in job, etc.
Jean, it's gassy beer. The yeast is very much alive, and well, were it not for the fact that they were drinking it outside, it would not be intollerable. The gas would take about 2 days to wear off. The yeast, would hit your intestines, and continue to ferment there and build up gasses. Any questions?
Oil kills yeast. Keeps it from getting air I think. You'd have to really-really-really clean this well, or your fermentations would get snuffed out early.
All old copper stills used lead soder, but then again, so do all old pipes. The lead leaches into the water or steam. I would not use it often, and certainly not with wine. You can make a modern one with a glass gallon jug, lol. It's just not worth the health issues. However, anyone over 30 has likely been over exposed to lead in their youth already. Remember leaded gas (aka regular)? Ever clean a part with leaded gas...lol.
Not very much before you find yourself in federal prision. ATF laws are federal. You will be breaking federal laws. I think they are willing to look the other way, if you make a little for yourself, but the moment you sell it, you are screwed. You'll be suprised at who turns you in. You can also put it in a mason jar, etc, but never, never sell it.....my friend got 10 years, and she is just now getting out. She did well for years before that..but marketing something that is illegal works both ways..
Alchol evaporates at a certain temp. If you throw out the stuff that you got out of the still before and after this, then you have a better product. My neighbor would just throw out the first shot, and the last...and then do it again...if he was not drunk yet. He did this with multiple glasses...as he was never quite sure when he'd get the last glass.
As the driver of a '96 Sable high mileage vehicle, I do agree that keeping this one running makes better economic and environmental sense for me. However, I disagree with your first point on being green relative to the manufacturing process. The manufacturing cost is a sunk cost--whether I buy or not, the manufacturers will still build "x" number of cars per year. Keeping my car does not change the fact. If all cars were built to order, then this argument would have relevance.
stick your finger in it, and light the finger with a match. The flame will not give off any heat and burn with a blue flame......blow out your finger. It's about right. If it didnt light, then distill again.
This alchol will kill your idiot friends from alchol posining, so, only serve to your smart friends.
The thing that i have done that helps me immensely when I am stressed out is to "walk". By "walking" in a nice park, around a lake, with music, etc... I am distracting myself from whatever it was that was overwhelming to me in the moment and helping me relax so I don't find comfort and relaxation in any spending related activity or any so called relaxing situation I am looking for by spending...
My experiences are that when I am stressed out I want to spend...particularly on anything that will bring me comfort in the moment, which is usually associated with anything that will help me get my mind off the most troubling issue I am faced with at the particular moment. However, this only causes me more stress in the future. The best thing one can do in those moments is remember that by doing this, you are deferring additional worries for the near future...which causes more stress, which may in turn result in more immediate spending...we are creating a cycle for our selves... a bad one.
A better idea would be to leave the car parked and walk....lol.
To date, the most efficient and ONLY method of getting alchol, that actually does not cost more energy then it produces is by using cane sugar. This would turn the cane sugar areas into opec, and would drive up the cost of cheap sugar.
The USA is so afraid of foreign ethonol, that they actually tax it heavily! lol.
They want to develop our own solution from an american product, so, we keep our blinders on, and ignore the current cheap solution.
However, your idea is to use a waste product, yard clippings, as the basis of the fermentable sugar and not consider the cost of the "harvest". You would still need to heat this slurry and the fermentable sugars would not give a reasonable return, however, you might be on the right track. Solve the next problem, convert the yard clippings to a sugar slurry without using too much energy...? solar? go go guy go.
lol...when I started brewing at home, my wife divorced me...it was a fair and easy trade. Imagine a drunk going into your garage and puking, and this is about as bad as it will smell.
Very rarely. Most of my check purchases are for my local handyman or bills that do not accept any form of electronic payment.
When I do fill one out, I do fill it out just like the old days. It does make me appreciate my credit and debit cards even more!
How can one get natural Witch Hazel in Africa precisely Nigeria

Perfect Mark, This is the info I needed.
It all comes down to balance and keeping track of what you need to get done. Consistency is better than any study program.

could have been somthing in the tubing, that was not cleaned out...then sloffed off into the jar.
Great article! This is motivation for me to organize and plan a neighborhood Yard sale at my next HOA meeting.

as did my neighbor, for three or four weeks. He charred his wood with a propane torch. (He did it in the shed).

maybe 2 minutes, and then I'll open it and start sampling.
