Thanks for this post. I was worried my identity was stolen. Now I realize it's just typical BS for people who cannot manage their money. I've cut the thing into little pieces.
My favorite weekend activity is driving up to my sister's house and going to the Blue Spring State Park. This time of year, the manatees are up in the river.
My favorite weekend activity is to travel with my favorite travel companion. We try to keep costs to a minimum and take advantage of free events within a few hours drive.
There is also DIY Tax. DIY Tax is a premium product that is completely free and can handle complicated returns. I plan on using it this year because those people who I know who have used it, have only had great things to say about it. You can access through this link: http://www.freetax.com/
I got a very fancy bridesmaid dress in white for under $300. I had it hemmed to ankle length and there was enough in the back for a short train. The bridesmaid dresses for my wedding were under $50 each.
Everything we have with the exception of 3 piece suits, gowns, suede and leather, etc, gets cleaned in our washer. We wash clothes with "Dry Clean Only" labels and, we combine all colors; we also wash silk and satin blouses. I have not noticed any problem with bleeding, shrinking, staining, or any other problem. Our policy is if anything bad happens from washing, throw it out. In 25 years we have never thrown out any cloths because of the washer damaging them. Our other policy is, if it requires special treatment we don't buy it. Of course we do buy "dry clean only" stuff because we know it doesn't matter. I iron all of our clothes and because of this I get close and familiar with each item and, so far I have not found any problems. Yes, I iron clothes that say "do not iron" or, "iron with cool setting". And I use the steam setting on everything. For delicate items I do use the coolest steam setting and sometimes turn a garment inside-out.

Sometimes credit card companies offer a lot of air miles when you sign up for a new card. If your credit is not bad, you can take advantage of that.
Sleep! I love staying up late and sleeping in on weekends. I also enjoy taking extra long walks with my dogs.
sleep!
If the weather is nice, hiking is my favorite thing to do. If the weather doesn't cooperate, I like watching "The Golden Girls". :)
I love going out to dinner on the weekend with my family!
My favorite weekend activity is going to the parks with my kids.

Making! It could be art, crafts, useful things, garden stuff, gifts, whatever--I like to create just about anything except dinner.....
I have two favorite weekend activities -- resting and working out! I use the weekends to catch up on sleep and also make-up for any missed workouts.
Weekends are for rest. I like to read books on the weekend since it's the only time I have to read.
My favorite Weekend Activity is riding my bike with my family! Since it has gotten warmer where I am at, we have been riding!
I like going to the beach.
