My favorite winter activity is drinking hot cocoa by a fire with a book while it snows outside. I know that is very specific and the conditions happen so rarely. I would love to do this with my boyfriend, but as long distance, the timing never really works out for it to be snowing when he is here. Also, I haven't been able to do a fire in my fireplace due to safety issues.
Our family loves to go out & look at all the Christmas lights on The Tour Of Lights in our city. Afterwards, we go out & get a pizza to take home & watch It's A Wonderful Life. Been doing this for over 20 years now.
Regarding point 2, there is a direct relationship between long-term thinking and wealth. I am a physician specialized in geriatrics - as such, most of my patients are old and very old. I see people of all kinds: very poor ones, poor ones, middle class, rich and extremely rich and what I noticed is this:
- very poor people (beggars and daily workers) perceive time in day units. They seem incapable or unwilling to realize there is tomorrow too
- poor people (low-income employees) think from week to week
- middle class people (mostly employees) think from month to month, because they usually receive their salary monthly
- rich people (liberal professionals and business people) think from year to year
- very rich people think in decades (!) - their main worry is not about earning money, but on leaving a legacy, growing their careers, their children, nephews etc
No wonder people invest their time, energy and neurons differently, when they seem to perceive time differently!
My favorite winter activity is curling up with a good book. Not a big fan of snow as I get older, so being able to watch it from inside the house is the best for me.
One best money tip is to engage in a solid investment. Binary options trading can be a very profitable way to participate in the stock markets. But to succeed, you need good training. OneTwoTrade provides top tier investor education services to its clients.
We use a lot of gift bags in my family and they make appearances year after year. Some of them have been around for almost my whole life (23 years). Great tips for saving money and saving the environment too!
I'm like a bear. My favourite winter activity is sleeping! Getting all nice and cozy under the covers and taking a long snooze since it's so cold/snowy/icy here in the winter you can't do much else anyway. I like to nap and dream about spring.
First time I did this was with my Godfather going camping. He would make up a burrito or roast beef sandwich and wrap it in heavy aluminum foil and put it on the intake manifold of his Bronco and by the time we got to our camp lunch was ready. Location on the engine does matter and do seal the foil tight (especially if there is any rain showers in the area).
My favorite winter activity is baking! I love how a hot oven warms up the house and makes it smell good, too. I usually bake alone but enjoy having people keep me company in the kitchen. And I always share my baked goodies with family and friends.

In the winter I love to cuddle under a blanket, drinking hot tea or cocoa in front of the fire.
