Thanks for posting. I listed 10 items on ebay last week and only 2 sold. I want to be rid of this stuff, but I know a lot of it still has some significant value.
I have ALWAYS had a gym membership. I live in Ohio so exercising outdoors is not always an option. I feel like it is something I could never do without.
These college costs seem low... Makes more sense to site average public vs average private college costs. Does this number include assumed average scholarships and grants?
Since most job postings include many of these terms, and resumes' are typically screened by bots SEARCHING for these key terms, it would be a big mistake to remove them from your resume'. I understand where the author is coming from, but in reality removal of these terms will have the opposite effect of what everyone with a resume' is looking for ... and that is getting their foot in the door for an interview.
I have started a new interest - zentangle. This art form requires no artistic talent. All you products you need to start will cost you less than $20. Do an internet search to find out more. Lots of people are improving their focus, concentration and enjoying this relaxing artform. Make room for it in your life everyday...you'll notice the changes in yourself.
I disagree with #4. A green alternative to "buy a new contact lens case every three months to reduce the risk of an infection." is to boil contact lens case in a pot of water on the stove.
Oh, good one (curry). YUM. Also, Finsbury Lane, thanks for the enchilada sauce recipe. 20 minutes! I can do that. That is going on this weekend's list. Thinking chicken enchiladas with that sauce you linked. It's hard to find canned sauce that doesn't contain MSG.
No, I don't have a gym membership. It seems too expensive and I feel like I should be able to exercise at home. It would be good to have a group class for some motivation and accountability though!
This article seems to be more about how to write well than how to write a good resume. Concrete detail is good, but business still loves these cliches.
I used to swear that I'd never sign up for a gym membership when there are so many free forms of exercise out there, but after getting in the habit of jogging this past summer, I had to give in and sign up for a membership for the winter months. And I don't regret it one bit!
thank you for the ideas! An appreciative mom who is not very creative in the kitchen because of the budget. These will work great and people will actually eat!
I do have a gym membership - I realized that I was never going to actually work out unless I felt guilty when I didn't do it, so spending money on the membership helps me get the incentive to actually go!
It seems like some of these things could just be cleaned rather than replaced. For example, I boil my toothbrush periodically and microwave my sponge for two minutes every day.
I have an unlimited monthly membership to a Crossfit gym for $125/month. It sounds high, but that gives me unlimited access to classes which are taught by great coaches in a very personal environment. I also get more out of it than my old gym membership, because there's more of a competitive vibe. So I'm seeing better progress in a shorter time frame. Recently the prices have raised to $200/month, but I'm grandfathered in at my price (at least for now).

I must edit my resume now, thanks for this! Responsible and detail-oriented are the most used words when it comes to resume.

Love your "next project" idea with the enchilada sauce. I'm in.
Great list. A "must add" would have to be Too Big Too Fail!
I don't pay for a gym membership, but I do have access to my university's fitness center since I'm a part-time grad student.
I tend to prefer functional exercise (taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking in the back of a parking lot, etc.) and home workouts.
Emeril’s red enchilada sauce

is easy and good, and a bit less expensive to make than it is to buy a can.
Curry it, especially leftovers. Or put it in an exotic sounding soup, like hot and sour or minestrone.
Yes and I use the gym at least once a week

No gym membership needed when I can jump rope in the garage! ;)

no I don't have one - but I'd like one
