i think if you have arrive with a gift, make the hosts a meal, clean up after yourself, leave a departing gift, and follow up with a thnk you, you have truly showed gratitude and politeness. We just moved to Europe 7 months ago, and i have yet to have one guest do even three of those five things.
Some friends change the profile photo as often as they change underwear. God help you if it is a dog or cat, a cartoon, a photo of a small child, or whatever. There is a dove on mine.
All I can say is "Wow"! First, to those of you complaining about NetSpend, or companies acting in a similar fashion, please- PLEASE educate yourselves on matters of this nature. Let me explain. First, your name (yes, your entire name) is pretty much considered public information. Dont think so- then on your next vacation, see how many homes have names on mailboxes, or on signs above doorways (Smiths Home...), etc- enough to make a point, right? Second, addresses are viewable by the thousands in phonebooks around the world. Heck, sitting here at my PC opens up a world of "public information" (names, addresses, phone numbers, property value, blah, blah, blah) that can be used for less than honorable behavior. Now, having said that, here is the other side of the scenario. DONT share your account information- ANY account (checking, savings, credit card, retirement, investments, etc). DONT share your Social Security Number (ya, this one is a biggie). I could go on for some time, but the point is that although NetSpend may be seeking new clients in a very strange and unprofessional way, the end result lies with you- the consumer. If your worried about the events that COULD unfold if you toss a few dollars on that card- SHRED IT! Save the stress for all the other concerns life has lined up for us. The overall problem that most individuals deal with when it comes to any type of insurance is the fact that they don't know what they are entitled to or simple don't know the rules to the game. Wealthy people have figured these things out and use it towards their advantage on a daily basis especially when it comes to taxes. Everyone needs to wake up and invest in financial education.

Star gazeing and seeing who can blow the biggest "Dragon breath" when it gets cold outside.
Making caramel apples and marshmellow popcorn balls.
Grabbing a pizza and hot chocolate then going for a short sight-seeing drive watching the colorful leaf change.
Trying to keep warm by telling stories around a campfire
My parents had a octoberfest every year in the fall. We picked apples, made it into juice and ate apple pie. During the day we played games( like apple bobbing) and in the evening we danced the polka.
We love going on hay rides and corn mazes

Warm compresses work wonders to soothe sore muscles. Doing them with an herb like peppermint makes it all the better.

Now that the weather is cooler I love heading out to the zoo with my son and just being outdoors in general.
