I am absolutely a Dave Ramsey fan. He woke me up through his tough talk to the financial situation that I was really in. My husband and I now sit down and really look at our budget and are committed to a debt free way of life.
This is absolutely my favorite season! I love nights on the porch with apple cider and looking at the beautiful colors change. More than likely you will catch me on the weekends in my football gear making delicious appetizers and of course, dressing up for Halloween! It's a time full of excitement around every corner!
I'm planning on moving out of the State in a few months, and would honestly prefer to be laid off so that in the case that I don't find a job right away I can still get unemployment benefits to help cover my living expenses until I find a new job. I'm 100% hoping to find a job within my first week in the new state, and do have some money saved but it would make the move a whole lot less stressful.

Great job covering the ups and downs of the FHA loans. They are a good option for some people, and make owning a home possible for a lot of folks who maybe couldn't otherwise.
I love soaking up every last bit of the outdoors before the brutal upstate NY winter sets in. I also love waking up early on a weekend morning and walking over to my neighborhood coffee shop. It's a lovely way to enjoy the crisp fall morning weather!
I am totally guilty with some of these reasons. I am certain that I do want to get rich, but I am totally uncertain that I cannot achieve it. I guess I have to be more positive with my goals that I can become a millionaire and I will work hard to make this possible.

Oh I love taking drives this time of year to see all the beautiful color leaves! We love to go down by the river and just drive along the edge... So beautiful!
Climbing mountains to get a 360-degree view of the autumn colors. Baking and consuming anything with pumpkin. Watching football on the weekends. I love fall!

I'm sorry, but this is very bad and dangerous advice. Mold grows in a network of tiny root-like strands called hyphae that grow throughout the entire loaf of bread and are invisible to the naked eye. The fuzzy part that you see on the outside is merely the spores that form at the end of the hyphae. Once spores appear on the surface, the entirey bread is moldy and should be thrown out.
Many people will tell you that they've always cut off the spore-covered part and ate the rest, and never got sick. But the toxins accumulate in their tissues over time and damage the liver and kidneys. They can also cause breathing problems, allergies, neurological problems (i.e., mental illness), and even cancer. So please do yourself a favor and dispose of the entire moldy bread, after wrapping it in a garbage bag to keep the spores from spreading everywhere.
I like being able to take longer walks with my dogs in the cooler weather. I also like getting out and switching over to my fall clothes, too. It is always fun going to all of the fall festivals in Southern Ohio, and seeing the leaves change color, too.
Thanks, Steven. Yes, I agree completely - there are ways to generate passive income at an early age...you don't have to wait until retirement. In fact, doing so gets you to retirement (financial independence) much sooner.
And given how our kids are living in a more challenging time, having dear old mom and dad on their side to give advice and support can make a real difference. Good luck!

Under the current very low interest rates (less than 1%), and a somewhat inflated stock market, is there a better safe place to put your funds than into your own home? When we sell our present house, I see us putting much of the money right back into our new home. It's never guaranteed that your house will appreciate in value, but at least you've got a place free-and-clear to live in should the market turn bad. That's more than I can say for anything other than an FDIC account paying 0.02% interest!

We go up in the mountains of North Carolina and pick apples. Every year. The apples taste great, and the views are worth the drive!

I'm definitely a baking girl. I look forward to fall thanks to pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and cranberry orange quick bread.

I like making pumpkin and apple treats, hosting trick-or-treaters, drinking hot cocoa and spiced apple cider, and checking out the fall colors.
Once the weather starts to cool off, my family likes to have a bonfire and invite friends. I make chili and we roast hot dogs and marshmallows.
