Awesome list, I travel a lot since retirement. Started post reviews on restaurant and hotels, written over 100. Are there any sites that pay? I post on TripAdvisor and Yelp but only get points
That sounds difficult because I think I'm the one percent that hates the taste of water by itself or even flavoured water. and I drink a lot of cokes no bad side effects except aiding my depression
I'm also not convinced. Number 1 is irresponsible, and numbers 2 through 5 can be accomplished with online bill pay. And it's not just millennials... I'm pushing 40 and I haven't used checks in more than 10 years.
This is what I've noticed with Amazon.ca and I'm sure .com is the same way.
I did a price comparison on numerous Items one of them was a:
Bushnell Scout DX 1000 ARC 6x 21mm Laser Rangefinder, Realtree AP Camouflage amazons list price was $571.14 and sale price $379.99 a savings of $191.15 (35% off) the exact same product at
Canadian Tire regular price (not on sale) was $379.00
Amazon fools you into thinking your getting a good deal but you are not.
I have seen this done with many products such as watches, electronics, range finders, binoculars etc and I have been fooled a few times myself. You have to really watch with them what you think is a good deal may not be due to them increasing the list price and adding in a sale price that is the same as what other stores are selling it for as their regular price. Beware of this. I Hope this helps some people out that may not realize this.
My favorite thrift store finds are high quality items that last for many years - buy it once items. My best find ever was a milk crate containing four Le Creuset pots for $8.00. It was the deal of a lifetime.
The store stayed in business less than a year. No wonder!
Hi, The information on Prepaid Tuition is not entirely accurate. Most state plans, including Nevada's Prepaid Tuition Plan, pay an out of state school the rate it would have paid if the child stayed in state. Therefore, you do get the same benefit out of the plan, it just might not cover the entire tuition, as out of state tuition is usually higher. Thanks for covering Prepaid Tuition as a valid 529 plan option. Many writers fail to mention them, and they truly assist many families who plan ahead and also give families peace of mind, knowing they have purchased tuition at today's in state rates. Sod at Home Depot in the San Francisco Bay Area is $412 for 500 sq. ft. or about 80 cents per sq. ft., way more expensive than the 8 to 30 cents in this article. I have an estimate for 2100 sq. ft. installed for $5200. They are scrapping the old yard down one inch and then putting the new sod down. A lot more expensive than the estimate above.
I've talk to atleast 10 people today about getting one of there puppies an everytime I try an b meet with them they say they r to far away an I can have it transported for little of nothing, to good to be true..my heart is broken for I was so excited to find me a puppy but all I found was scam artist, as if life wasn't already enough
Clarissa, I knew that my discussion of the "debt snowball" method could be controversial since this approach to debt reduction is so popular, but the fact remains that the "debt snowball" method is not the fastest or cheapest way to pay down debt. You can spend thousands of dollars more and take years longer to pay off your debts using "debt snowball" vs. paying down your highest interest rate debts first! I think it is great if people are motivated by the "debt snowball" method and get inspiration from seeing smaller accounts getting paid off, but I think it is important to let people know that the "debt snowball" method may cost more and take longer, depending on the interest rates on your debt. Anyway, I am happy to hear you found your way out of debt!
I have found good children's special occasion clothes like fancy dresses for the holidays. They only wear it once so it makes sense to buy it used for a fraction of the price.
One common occurrence for me is when I try to get annual fees waived on things such as credit cards. I go through the whole "I'm thinking about cancelling" speech but in actuality I probably wouldn't cancel even if they don't waive the fees. Doesn't hurt to try.
I once found and purchased an almost new Lands End insulated puffy vest. Not earth shattering but a great deal for a quality product.
thanks for that i think that is great idea thanks for shayring

Just about all of them!
Thanks for the comment, great info. I've been using free mulch for years without any problems but you make some great points.
I think the Target Red Credit Card should allow a cash back option in the same fashion the Walmart credit card does!
Don't travel and save THOUSANDS of dollars!

Unbelievable, you can list all these things. Some ideas very useful for me.

Show me a place where you can buy a jar of peanut butter for 1.69 and I'll show you a liar.
I'm not really a thrift store kind of shopper.
