Here is what i found from trying to purchase a too good to be true truck. I have reached out to Ebay and they verify this is a spoof.
Thank you for contacting me regarding my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT, that I have for sale. This truck is in great shape. I’m the original owner. It has no damage, no scratches, dents or hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn’t been involved in any accident…Has only 61,210 miles, its automatic, with an 5.7 HEMI engine, 4x4, gray exterior and black interior.I have a clear title, free of any liens or loans on it, under my name. I am selling it at this final price of $1,500 because my husband died 1 month ago (he had a heart attack) and it brings me bad memories and that’s the reason I want to sell it a.s.a.p. I want to use eBay services for the safety of both of us so if you’re interested in purchasing this truck just email me with your full name, address including the zip code and phone number, so I can notify eBay that you are selected as my possible buyer and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.
I got a text from someone saying they were interested in buying my car. I asked them to call me but they continued to text. Said I need to go to this website first so they would know my car was okay. I said no on the site and again asked that they call me. Another text with a different website they wanted me to go and that time I said to stop texting me. And they did. Weird huh?
i have a nightlight in the kitchen near the sink and plants. I put an ice cream container with water and a dab of dishwashing liquid. the knats fly to the light and die in the soapy water. Have to change it sometimes daily, gets moths and flys too.
I own a lakehouse --- people don't know that I spend a small fortune in paper goods -- toilet paper, paper towels (jeesh), paper plates, napkins, paper cups, coffee filters and so forth. I am grateful when someone goes out shopping for this and other staples (shampoo, bar soap, DW powder). My pet peeve is when my guests leave wet towels (if they even bring their own towels) and suits on my wood floor or on their beds. Second pet peeve is not making your bed and having my house look "half-kept" because you can't make your bed. Last peeve is doing nothing -- PITCH IN! Do dishes, restack wood pile, sweep the floor, run an errand, offer to work the grill.....anything at all! I am grateful when some guests actually leave---it shouldn't be so much work for the host! .....OH and I forgot my greatest peeve of all time -- GUESTS DO NOT INVITE GUESTS!
One more thing -- its gracious that the guests bring 'things' but I find it RUDE when they pack them up and bring them home. Like how hard is it to leave the remaining bottles of beer in the case or the liquor you didn't consume or the food that wasn't cooked. If in doubt, ask the host. Sometimes I DO prefer that they take their food home!
put the gadgets away (tablet, phone, computer) --- as a guest you are there to enjoy company with each other! It's okay to respond to email but do it discretely when you awaken or retire and not all day!
I remember the open office situation, about 20 people. When I'd ask my supervisor a question, 6 people would answer. The desks were very close, sometimes I'd think of something, briefly, which would elicit a quick smile from me. The woman across from me (three feet away) would say "Ah, what are you thinking of, I saw that smile!" She'd go on and on. She was always watching me because, working, we were facing each other and not one twitch escaped her attention. Finally, the office got partitions, which was a relief!
You forgot one of the simplest... get your prescriptions from Costco. Not only are the drug prices typically lower, but their dispensing fee is the lowest in the business. I'm not sure if it is true in USA, but here in Canada you don't even need to be a member. Under the law here a pharmacist can't discriminate who they'll dispense to so anybody can use the Costco pharmacy. Just tell the gatekeeper at the door you are going to the pharmacy and they have to let you in.
SCAM... 619-659-7862 is a "pay ya $50 over asking, send you a check and when check clears arrange for shipping." Wanted address, had phone number from text.
I live in amsterdam, I bike everywhere everyday. My favorite “innovation” is my coffee cup holder. It shocks me that you don’t see more around this town. I am also eagerly awaiting for someone (starbucks?!) to open a bike thru lane somewhere in town so that I don’t have to get my kids in and out of the bike when i fuel up.
I always skip the theme parks. They are so expensive and often make for a hectic day. I prefer to enjoy the beach/parks etc where you can enjoy a great day out for very little.
I didn't notice any comments about their electronics. You may be able to beat the prices of things like TVs at some places, but you will be unlikely to find a store that will accept a return item like Costco does. This is better than the best manufacturers' warranty around. Electronics (TVs, cell phones, computers, printers, etc., etc.) are best bought from Costco because you have an iron-clad satisfaction guarantee from Costco...and it doesn't expire overnight, either.
Possibly, Rita, but much more likely that you got water in your gas tank from condensation. Hint: temperature changes cause the moisture in the air to condense into water in your gas tank. Best way to avoid that is to keep your tank full as much as possible. (Less air, less condensation). I've been using Costco gasoline in my 13-year-old Infiniti SUV (takes premium only) for years with no problems whatsoever. And on a trip I still get over 25 MPG. (Unfortunately my mileage is not so hot around town...)
A good deal is only a good deal if you use all of the product. Then there are a lot of items at Costco that can be purchased elsewhere in smaller quantities for less than Costco and when you buy them at Costco is because of convenience and it ups Costco's profit line. The tire purchase mentioned here is not the deal this author makes it out to be. There are several places you can buy the same tires for the same price and in a couple of places like Les Schwab's for even less and still get the lifetime rotation and balance thrown in. I've been a member since 1967 and over the years seen a lot of items that we used faithfully just suddenly without warning disappear, like there recent departure from the Kirkland Brand of Gel Dish washing soap. Their only choice now costs about 60% more because it is a name brand and not Kirkland. Once they quit selling the product it never comes back no matter hos much you complain. As for the ink cartridges. They have only a limited few. While they are selling a particular model of printer they will have the cartridge and when they stop selling the model of printer the ink goes with it so if you bought it you now have to go somewhere else to get the ink or buy a new printer. Those Hotdogs and Polich Sausages, dripping in fata nd oil are so delicious and like the author said the condiment bar is great just ask for a fork to help you out when you buy them. The drink by itself is just $.59 cents. That whole pizza can be bought for the $9.98 and picked up already baked and hot which is great if you live a reasonable distance away good way to go for a lunch or dinner. Also if you have the $100.00 membership card you get a percentage back at your renewal time that can in some cases add up to the cost of your membership if you shop there a lot.
I don't have a side gig.
You forgot Costco!
I wish I had a side gig! I do sell a lot of unused items around the house on eBay, but would love to have a legit side job.
My side gig is that I enter giveaways and win prizes!!
I do online surveys

Stay positive, be honest and follow up, don't wait for them to call you back, show them you really want the job.
Yes! This is a scammer. Ignore him, but him on your block/spam list and carry on. You can smell scammers a mile away.

I know everyone says this but network, network, network. The best jobs I've had have been found through my network.
