We must use our coupons before expiration date. While we do have cable, we want the converter boxes in the event we have power (but the cable goes out, which does happen from time to time). Also we were thinking of cancelling our cable altogether. I've seen some posts but no answers. Please help:
Must you have an antenae on the TVs (and what is best kind)?
My impression from posts is that you cannot hook the box up without some sort of antanae, is this correct? Any help for we technically challenged is appreciated. Thanks!
Who needs the "keepin' up with Jones" pressure, especially since the Jones are probably one step away from divorce court anyway. My fiance' just fixed my cable inputs for me and I'm feeling very loved. A no-cost-but-time idea I do like though, is writing a letter to your love...a real letter, no text or email. Beautiful and in these times, unique.
We usually get take out from a local restaurant then get a movie to watch at home. We always get our favorite movie treats to watch with. Thanks for the giveaway
My favorite thing to do for Vday is a home chocolate fondue dessert. With a real fondue pot. You can be as silly or romantic as you want and it is pretty inexpensive.
We had an entertainment book a couple years ago and the best deal was a series of monthly coupons for a local grocery- I think it lowered our grocery bill by $25 each month for about 4 months!
I just signed up for this. I ordered 3 $10 gift certs for $3.60. Their number of restaurants was a little limited but there was one that I could see myself going to sometime soon. I try not to jump on deals unless I would be going there anyways. I probably wont use the FTD deal as they are pretty expensive compared to the local florist and a goofy grin.
Have you found a remote that works both the TV and the converter box?
I have elderly parents who are struggling with having two remotes and not knowing which remote turns on, which changes channels, which changes volume... Too many buttons for them... Please help.
yeah, Target is the place of my weakness for "things I didn't even know I wanted-not even wants". I just go there only if I absolutely have to. Great article!
I would giveaway to my grandmother who would save a lot going out to eat with her friend. They love to do movies together as well, so the movie coupons would work out fantastically. Thanks
After our show (er're in a rock band together and we're playing on Saturday) We're going to cook dinner at home and do a fun activity where we can talk like leisurely bike riding. :)
I love the food coupons. Great way to try out restaurants. And we share the book with our coworkers. by the time I get the book back it is usually torn to shreds.
I used the entertainment book for the San Diego area before, but just moved to Gainesville, Fl. The coupons we use the most are the once for the attractions and definitely most of the restaurant coupons.
Writing down goals and motivation on pen and paper works. I mean, it gives you a more visual approach at things rather than plainly thinking and then procrastinating. Makes perfect sense to me! :)
I like the buy one admission, get one free coupons for the zoo and museums. I also love the save $5 off $50 purchase for the grocery store. Thanks for a great giveaway!

My father would write my sister and I poems every year- my husband plans to start this for our daughters, and we will collect them over the years.

You can use them in the evening when the prices are close to $10 here.
You know, nothing.
So shut up.

Do you know if there is a time limit in which to disupute a charge?
Thank you

it's 60% off additionally to what you see when you visit the page. I just bought some and they were $4/piece. score!
Just pay attention to the restrictions. Some of them are $10 off a $50 purchase, and only at a certain time of day.
My favorite frugal tip is love letters and deeds of love. ~ :) THanks - GREAT giveaway!
I just caught the Valentine thrift episode this morning while filing and shredding. Great job.
The TV is the worst at giving this impression of need. I wish I could get rid of the shopping channels.
My husband switches during the commercials, no matter what program is on to look at Invicta watches.
He practically drools.
Congratulations on the show Linsey. You did an amazing job.
Thanks for the support Lynnae. I love how supportive the 11 Mom community is. =)
