I really like white vinegar for removing yellow underarm stains. Just soak the garment's underarms in white vinegar for awhile, then wash as usual....no yellow underarms!
Nope, everyday we do a Best Money Tips roundup featuring awesome personal finance articles we've found from around the web. But we do have many great articles on tips to make money. Just used the search feature at the top of the page and you will find exactly what you are looking for! Hope that helps! :)
My dream job as a kid was "explorer", but there's not much need for that now - ha! Then it was archaeologist, then to work for the CIA as an analyst, then work in a diplomatic role somewhere in the world. Now, my dream job is more nebulous -- I'd like to be an authority or expert in "something", always researching and learning to stay abreast of "it" and travel around to meet and collaborate with colleagues. I wouldn't mind doing this as a representative under the auspices of a true philanthropic or scientific entity.
My dream job idea has changed over the years, in high school I thought it would be neat to be a truck driver that went across country. You could see so much. But then after knowing some truck drivers, I've learned that it's not that glamorous. Then I would have wanted to be a horse trainer, but after working with horses for years and being sent to the hospital a couple of times by them, not so sure about that either. So then I am thinking it would be great to have a bed and breakfast where you could meet alot of people and I love to cook and entertain. But I already do that in my own humble way. So I guess my really really dream job would be getting paid to do what I love now. Traveling when I can, entertaining when I can, and having some animals around for company, and spending alot more time with my husband of 35 years. :)
If you make it as a cookie, I think you might be disappointed as we are conditioned to a particular taste in cookies. Instead, how about making them in a 9x13 and cutting them into bars. Like a breakfast bar, you expect a different taste than the sweetness of a cookie.
This comment isn't aimed at anyone particularly. But, if ANYONE tries to tell ANYONE else that eating healthy isn't more expensive....you're out of your ever lovin' mind!
The point of the article was the comparisons of eating unhealthy foods as compared to eating (and trying to afford) healthy foods. The fact is, I can walk into any Walmart and buy a pack of unhealthy hotdogs for $0.99. However, if I want the much healthier bundle of bananas, it will set me or you back $4.oo. This is about the best comparison that can be made. But how about bread? Loaf of white unhealthy bread...$0.89. Loaf of whole grain...$2.14!
The fact is eating healthy will break most of the under-class and this is why they don't eat healthy food. They have a choice to make; eat healthy and run out of money in week 2, or eat junk and have food all month long. This isn't a complicated matter folks, it's simple economics. However, if you have never had to make the choices...you have no idea what you are talking about. And that is the bottom line. You have to have the experience of the decisions that must be made to understand what the author is saying. If you have never had to consider the question...you will not understand the circumstance. As far as the WIC program? They are no better really. Fact is that all those "juices" they hand out are loaded with corn syrup and sugars that are bad for you. Eggs, ok, I'll grant that one; however, when one looks at the program as a whole....it's junk food all over again...for the most part.
Yes, the parents have the final decision as to what goes in their childs mouth. Additionally, they also want to keep their children from going to bed hungry, and that means junk food because they know their is no way they will afford the healthy alternative. Facts are facts. And the fact is...eating a healthy diet will cost you! Health food companies drive up their prices to fatten profits and they don't care who is left out of the "healthy circle." (Least of all the poor!)
The debate gets complicated by everyone's "what if's" and "Yeah but's," when it is such a simple thing to understand. Look at it this way: To lose weight you need to eat less calories. If you don't...you won't lose weight. Less calories=less weight. More calories=more weight. Just like diets..."it's simple stupid."
"I want to lose weight so I must eat less calories to do it."
Let us not make a complication where none should lie. We only disservice ourselves and others when we do. Just look at the our government if you need a visual aid of the example. Healthy eating costs more than not. It's as simple as that.
This is so backwards! Your telephone account should not BY DEFAULT be a credit card account. You should have to issue permission to have third party charges on it, not to keep them off. I have never given my phone company permission to be third party for charges and never will. My only agreement with them is to provide cell phone service. That is not the purpose of my phone, it is not the represented purpose of the account when I opened it, and it should not be allowed unless SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZED by me to the phone company itself. It really angers me that I have to monitor my bill for this.
My dream job would be to work from home on our tea business, raise animals and live out in the country. I'd love to get in some volunteering as well.
My main priorities in choosing a job have always been:
1. Close to home/10 min or less commute
2. Free dress code(for me, black shirt/jeans is the norm)
3. Low stress/opportunity to work alone for the most part/quiet environment
Thankfully I have all of those things now. The $$ is okay but I choose this over business attire, 2hr daily commutes and 100K per year, no thanks.
I don't have a dream job per se, I'd rather just focus on being happy. For me my job isn't my identity so being happy is easier for me to focus on. I do think it would be fun to be a children's book author and illustrator :)
Yep this is def. nail on the head...i keep telling myself and everyone who will listen just becos we have does not we should spend...everyone these days go shopping feeling absolutely entitled...do we really need all that we buy...
My dream job has evolved over the years. Still would love to do them all (below). However, I find the most rewarding in helping people, especially kids, make the right decisions when it comes to their future. I used to be a teacher but that was taken away or left behind due to the lack of money they get paid. It's hard to support a family on a teacher's salary.
Baseball player - Photographer (who doesn't want a shot on the cover of Nat. Geographic?) - Surfer - traveller - author - Principal - entrepreneur - business executive - Owning my own advertising company.
Great article. Very informative. I've had really good success with purchasing children's furniture for my daughter on Craigslist. I've also been able to find decent apartment rentals there, although it varies widely by city. I've also been able to sell stuff like couches on Craigslist with ease.
I was lucky to have my dream job - twice! I worked in a library and also as a church administrator and only employee at times. I realized I really like to work alone while at the church. Then when I went to the library, I was a little worried about working with the public; but I really liked that, too.

I liked your FB page. Thanks for the great content!
I'm with you there, in the same boat!
Cultural ethnography starting in Inner China is my dream job!
I like the idea with the white rice. I'm going to try this later. :)

Comfortable shoes are worth the price.

anything in the political arena would be fun.

My dream job would be a teacher. I'm too old to train for that now, but I would love it and I think I would be good at it.
Step Two: Type in MYSTRING=(80000000)
does it mean, if your PC (xp) got more memory (128M), then you should read the 8 0000000 number to something like 40000000
so far, seem to have no side-effect and seem that it will only do good, rather than harm
my chrome on veetle.com and youtube.com seem to be sluggish
another choice would be load up a clean ghost image for c drive
