Our main vertical is personal finance, but we also cover general lifestyle topics such as travel, lifehacks, career, cooking, parenting, and any product that saves people time or money.

Position Overview

Full time, work-from-home, competitive salary, open to commissions, and great opportunity to advance in company. Benefits include healthcare and dental, 401K and paid vacation days. You will be mainly selling our native advertising (e.g. advertorials, underwritten articles) and social media services (tweetchats, FB promotions).

Requirements

  • California resident.
  • 2+ years of digital advertising experience, with at least 1 year of core sales experience. Experience selling/buying advertising on blogs preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of online advertising ecosystem and agency/advertiser decision making process.
  • Some agency and direct brand relationships.
  • Ability to develop compelling sales decks, get decision makers to meet with you, and close sales over the phone.

Job Description

You’ll split your time equally among the 5 following tasks:

  • Respond to sales inquiries and RFPs.
  • Service and develop strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Generate new business through networking and targeted cold emails/calls.
  • Refine the sales process, create sales material and training staff.
  • Come up with ideas for new sponsorship opportunities.
