Sasha A. Rae's Bio
I’m an adventurer, storyteller, investigator and life coach who is always on the lookout for a new experience, always cutting a new trail somewhere somehow, and always eager to help others blaze their own trails to wherever it is that they want to go.
Along the way I've acquired a few nifty skills I like to use every now and again. For instance, I have:
- Over 15 years of experience in writing, editing and radio production and have published articles both in the U.S. and overseas;
- Over five years of experience teaching journalism, psychology, and current events courses to university students both in the U.S. and in other countries;
- Experience translating documents and conversations in English and Spanish; and
- A life coaching practice based on both graduate training in psychology and on personal experience ... so I can help others build the lives of their dreams.
When I'm not writing, teaching or coaching, I go adventuring. I’ve moved all over America (hitting 11 states so far), hostelled solo in the Canadian Rockies, worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in China, rock climbed in South Korea and basked on the beaches of Bali. Future travel targets are Europe and Africa. And pretty much anywhere else that calls to me loudly and clearly. And maybe anywhere that has really stellar food. Or is it the food that calls to me? I don’t know. It’s so hard to tell. And now I’m hungry!
