Why bother with middling details, like the interest rate? Just go ahead and get that card. Bank of America can help!

I do most of my banking at Bank of America. I don't adore Bank of America, but they've always been pretty good. Customer service is handy and friendly, and they've never really tried to screw me over. That's why I was surprised, while visiting my local branch, to see a big dry erase board behind the counter with the words "WANT 20,000 FREE AIR MILES? ASK US HOW!" written on it.

As a complement to Andrea’s article, here’s something else to make you sleep well at night. The average American has around 8 credit cards and is carrying roughly $9000 in credit card debt. If that’s not bad enough, the credit card companies are involved in what can only be described as a conspiracy to keep Americans in debt, permanently.

I Don't Love Capital One - How to Get a Lower APR, or Possibly Not

I knew there was a reason that I chose capitalone-bites-the-big-one772 as my log in name for my online credit card account. It's because, well, Capital One bites. I'm a good customer of Capital One; I keep a revolving balance that should make them happy, and I pay my bill religiously.
