BeatMyPrice

Stateless systems are at it again. I’m a huge fan of their two biggest sites, BugMeNot (a way to bypass compulsory website registrations) and RetailMeNot (a vast coupon codes site). Now with BeatMyPrice, they’re turning competitive shopping and price comparison searches into a game. And we’re all winners.

Sears going crazy

Very quick and super deal for you folks, to follow my vent on mortgages. And considering what I was saying, we need to save every penny we can. Anyway, Sears is going a little gaga and selling off a whole bunch of decent clothes for 90% off, sometimes more! How much more? Well, when you click on the link you'll be greeted by items that have been reduced from $20-$30 to just 99 cents. I'm not even sure you could find a deal like that for a used sweater at a charity store.

What clearance price is your Achilles Heel?

the magic clearance price

Some people are suckers for bargains of any kind. Others, well, even a genuine FREE offer is difficult for them to take up. But most of us, myself included, have a magic number. It’s in the form of a percentage printed on wonderful clearance sticker, and it is scary how many times it has pulled me in like a tractor beam.

Memory Foam

I couldn't resist this deal, and just had to share it. We've had our King Size bed for almost 7 years now, and although it's holding up well it's not as great as it used to be. But Amazon is almost giving away these expensive 2 INCH thick memory foam toppers, which means my sleep is about to get a whole lot better again.

A quick 'deal of the day' for you, and it's a great one. When my wife and I were expecting out first child we read "What To Expect When You're Expecting" from cover to cover. When the baby arrived, we quickly turned to this book. It's wonderful, it's well written and you can get it absolutely FREE.

FREE 18" Cultured Freshwater Pearl Necklace

Free Necklace

This is no joke. This is not a scam, I've checked it out. Right now Overstock.com is giving away 18" pearl necklaces. Why I have no idea. Clearly it was the accountant's day off. All you pay is just $2.95 for shipping, but they have limited you to just 1 per customer. Makes sense.

40% off at The W Store - ends Aug 31

Posted August 15, 2007 - 11:41 by Paul Michael

Deals and Coupons

W Store
Quick deal for you. For the next two weeks the W Store is accepting a coupon that takes 40% off your entire purchase. Now, I'm not one to usually shop there, it's a bit overpriced, but the coupon means there are some very good deals to take advantage of. My personal favorite is shown below. An Android Sonic Radar watch , rrp $115 but with the coupon it's around $70. Not a bad price for such a fine watch. If you're willing to spend a little more cash, you can buy a very nice mattress.
