TACO TOWN and the gut-busting tributes.

Have you guys ever seen Taco Town? C'mon, the parody of supersizing that is way too funny and agonizingly close to reality? Well, I've embedded it below for you all to catch up on, but the real reason for this post are the tribute videos that followed.

Taco Town, famous for its "taco wrapped in a taco, wrapped in a pizza, wrapped in a pancake and deep fried" was insanely funny. But to my surprise, many frugal fans out there have tried to copy this cheap and nasty meal. Who am I to say anything about clogging arteries and cholesterol levels?

Ramen has been a long time favorite of mine, harkening back to my childhood, when they were an easy snack with what seemed at the time, like an exotic twist. I was allowed to eat them with chopsticks, an honor not bestowed upon very many other foods in our household, although twirling the noodles around a fork was equally delightful. My favorite flavor was, and probably still is, pork.

When Good Food Goes Bad

Posted 2 years ago by Andrea Dickson

mouthfulI just started to clean out my fridge, and had to suppress a shudder at some of the things that I found towards the back. Food that hadn’t already grown two legs and left my kitchen in its on volition was snarling menacingly from the “crisper”, which in this case was holding a bin of limp celery and what was once probably kale.
