Want a Company to Hear You? Talk to Their “People.”

Sure, you could call a company's customer service line in times of trouble. I've done it in the past with excellent results. I've also run into the occasional “I don't care.” The next time you find yourself with no audience for your frustration, have your “people” call their “people.” It works.

How much money should a CEO make?

According to the Institute for Policy Studies, in 1980, American CEOs earned over 40 times more per year than the average American worker. Today, the average American CEO from a Fortune 500 company makes 364 more than that same worker, and 70 times more money than a four-star Army general. Is that fair?
