Double Coupons – They Could Cost You!

I recently tried (and failed) a recent Super Double Coupon promotion at my local Kmart. The bad news: I was unable to check out due to a glitch in their system, and I left all my items at the register. The good news: I shopped elsewhere and (surprisingly) saved so much more money.

Can I say, right here and now, I love free anything. But free ice-cream? Thank you, thank you (although Ben & Jerry's is my personal fav - Cherry Garcia, oh baby).

Anyway, on MAY 15th, from 4pm to 8pm, rush along to your local Haagen-Dazs store and you can try a scoop of one of their two new exciting and delicious flavors. Behind the Times - I learn about Keep the Change

I tend to ignore most promotions that banks send my way. I use Bank of America for my primary checking account, and they often interrupt my online banking log-in to try to sell me on some kind of promotion, and it’s usually crap.

So it was with Keep the Change – I just assumed that it was another little gimmick that wasn’t worth a second glance, and I would sigh heavily whenever the advertisement prevented me from immediately seeing my account balance when I logged into my online checking account. It wasn’t until a friend told me that she was participating that I started to pay attention.
