A while back, I wrote a post detailing thirty different ways we were using less plastic packaging around the house. It was a little overwhelming at first, even with all the steps we had previously taken to reduce waste in general. Still, we made a pretty good initial dent in things. Several areas of waste reduction were still outstanding however, and I felt the time for an update post was at hand. Read on to see what new areas we've tackled, how we've done it, and what things we've noticed along the way.

While I've found an alternative for large kitchen trash bags that I feel really great about, the use of the smaller plastic bags for bathroom trash has remained a hurtle I didn't know how to jump. The solution remained elusive. Until now. By Jove, I think I've found it. Ready to take the leap with me?

It's everywhere, isn't it? And once you become more aware of the problem and commit to using less, one walk down any aisle of the grocery store is nearly enough to make you pass out. It's simply overwhelming. At our house, we still have quite a ways to go, but have taken a number of initial steps to start making an initial impact. Wanna know how we're doing it?
