There's nothing like the pleasure of turning pages in a book. I prefer printed books but do enjoy the convenience of ebooks when reading at night because of the light issue.
I'm old school. I much prefer holding an actual physical printed book in my hand while reading. I like the feel of it, I like the smell of books...I already spend too much time looking at screens. When I want to enjoy some quality reading time I want a real book.
You could play with clay and try to make an exact statue of the things around you.
You can also take some clayey soil, make something you like and then paint it. I once
tried to make a bird and it was really fun!
I always prefer printed books. I spend most of my days in front of my computer in the office and also at home.. my eyes need rest from it.. and I enjoy flipping the pages of physical books than digital ones.. or maybe just because I don't a Kindle., and I've never thought of buying one. :P
Also one thing, I love seeing my books piled accordingly in my shelf.. though it takes time and effort to dust them everyday. I just love them the way they are.
Using coke on hams has been a long time family tradition....nothing else, just coke and bake in oven or big crockpot for a few (I do mine over night) hours and it's so moist it's falling apart...
I prefer ebooks- they are much easier to hold while I juggle a small child in the other hand. I love to read while I nurse and ebooks are a life saver in that regard.
Books. Typically courtesy of the public library. I read gifted books on vacations, because I usually don't love them enough to keep them anyway. (I have one shelf for books that I play like a zero-sum game.)
I prefer printed books. I read all day on the computer for work and don't want to pleasure read electronically. I know there are advantages to e-books but there are so very many more with printed books.
What an insightful article! I'm a big list maker and goal setter, but sometimes have trouble prioritizing what's most important or what to accomplish first. These suggestions will definitely help. ;o)
Although ebooks are more convenient, I still prefer to read printed books. It motivates me to read it more and I like seeing my book shelves with books that I have read in it.
I agree 100% with complaining politely. My wife and I had a flight delay and ended up grounded for the night in Uganda. Once we got home the next day we politely notified KLM of the poor handling by their airport staff and how the delay negatively impacted our work schedules. Upon confirmation of our flight details, KLM promptly sent an apology letter to us along with $700 checks for each of us!
I think the advice to invest your age in bonds should get a second look. We're living much longer lives and therefore need more money to get to the end. I'm 57, in good health, expect to work (part-time) until I'm 70, and have my asset allocation at 80%stocks and 20% bonds. I expect to live into my 90s.
I like ebooks.
I'm trying my best to eat healthier. I'm attempting Doctor Oz's plan so I can put meal planning on auto pilot for a bit.
Don't forget to throw a bottle of SHOUT in the car for tar splatters and (with some patience) tree sap.

I'm still a hands-on book reader

I prefer printed books. I don't even and wouldn't consider getting an e-book reader!
Raspberry Cream Cupcakes sound delicious, I need to try these this week, I think my wife will love them :)

I love ebooks, especially when traveling! Plus, the integrated dictionary and adjustable settings are really convenient to use.

The article stated "...spending money is the only way to get the things you need...".
I'd beg to disagree. You can borrow things you need, trade for them, make them, etc.
Spending is easy. Too easy sometimes. Perhaps we could find a way to get what we need without always spending cash.
I prefer Printed Books

Your tips for were spot on, I would add to be persistent. Students have to realize that you must apply to as many as possible.
Definitely printed!
