If the market has a great run, as it did over the past 5 or 7 years, why not take most of the money out of the market and stay in CDs or cash ? Long term stock market indicators are flashing sell signals right now, so staying in the market is not worth the risk.
This is one thing about payments in the USA that's really screwed up and annoys me. While stores are incurring hefty fees for credit card payments, people who pay by other means become the losers because they are suffering the disadvantages of credit cards (higher store prices to cover the massive interchange fees) without having the benefits such as 1% cash-back. And keep in mind that stores have zero leverage when negogiating interchange fees. Sick and twisted system? Hell yes.
Fortunately, there is a simple solution to this: Force all stores to pass their credit card fee directly on to the consumer. This would put credit card fees right out in the open, subjecting credit card vendors to healthy competition between one another. Currently there is no competition to speak of, so credit card companies are making WAY more than they should be.
Consignment shops/thrift stores are great for hidden finds. Retail shopping for me is done at Macy's and Dillard's, especially when traveling around the great United States; if something doesn't wear or wash well both stores stand behind their merchandise. I also love to shop at boutiques and airport clothing stores. They feature things you won't see yourself in every place you go. As far as groceries go, Publix is the best if you're lucky enough to have one in your area.
Excellent post. I am opening a day care center and this has helped a great deal to give me ideas to keep all those kids busy. I love kids! They make me remember how joyful life can be.
If you are allergic to every known mascara, then try the ones from blinc. I can wear it, though not for a long time (but at least long enough to get through an event).
One more. Use on a cotton swab or blending stump to blend areas of colored pencil drawings. The mineral oil allows the wax-based color to spread and brighten.
Who knew there were so many uses for mineral oil. I'm going to find my bottle and clean my dining room set.
Wonder if it would also help a cat's ears?

Both are owned by the same unethical, exploitive family. No one caring for this country should shop in either store.
I love shopping at Old Time Pottery! They have such good deals on decorations and kitchen items
The prices paid certainly reflect the 30 second lifespan of today's cyber journalists, no fact checking needed, just a word count.
Amazon has everything and most of time with free shipping. Also love Target.
Thanks for sharing the best and top 5 primers.
Amazon and ebay! Whatever I'm looking for and I can use amazon coupons.
I like your approach. Would you mind sharing more details about how it works exactly? Would like to try to implement it. Thanks!

I like to shop at Kohl's, Target and shops at the Mall.
I really like my Karmin
I shop at Walmart using price match and savings catcher.
I'm a sucker for thrift stores. You never know what you'll find.
Target! One stop shopping and then I'm done :)

I like to shop online - Eddie Bauer and Life is Good are my favorites.
Goodwill and Liberty Thrift, it is always a treasure hunt!

I enjoy shopping Amazon.com the most!
I prefer to do most of my online shopping at Amazon. If I have to go to an actual store, I head to Target.
