Excellent tips...I generally use white vinegar and baking soda because these household cleaners always help me to solve a lot of problems for home cleaning..thanks for sharing nice tips definitely i will try these green cleaners also..
Have you seen that device that you wire your house up to which turns off all of the appliances with one switch? I can't remember the name of it or how it works but it's really neat. Saves the trouble of going around unplugging things.
I would like to add clothing to the list, of when sometimes the splurge is worth it. Avoid cheap materials such as polyester, rayon and spandex, go for wool, silk, cotton and linen
Duh,
Debit cards are fine and I use them as well. Secured credit cards help you on a path to establishing good credit. If you ever want a car loan, house loan, or just save on insurance or make it easier to rent an apartment, or a variety of other uses, then you will want good credit.
My daughter is starting her final year of under grad, so my only shopping was books. Yes, I'm done, and I'm broke. Two of her books were almost $200 each used.
Good condoms
Quality pants hangers
A good quality iron (Rowenta for example)
Organic milk with granola
Good Cologne/Perfume
Glycerin Soap
They cost extra but you will have better sex, your pants wont fall off the hangers, irong will be fun and your milk will taste better and you will smell like a million bucks
Great tips! I especially agree with the shoes. I'm all for looking for the best bargains around, but I'm not going to mess around with footwear. I'll buy top quality shoes for my son because they're what's best for his growing feet. I also buy top quality running sneakers for myself. I'll definitely look into getting the best deal on these as I can as far as sales, coupons, etc., but I won't buy the cheap-o pairs at the dollar store.
I think blaming the storage companies for the irresponsible behaviour and habits of people is absurd. Sarah's "worst financial decision" was adopting a child in the first place while single and selling her house and not working in an attempt to be a stay-at-home mom on her own. That was her first problem, not putting her extra stuff in storage.
Lisa -- I discovered this one myself recently. Definitely saves on the final bill -- soda and alcohol are the primary profit centers at most restaurants. Thanks for sharing.

I haven't even wanted to start yet...we're reusing some supplies from last year and I'll deal with anything else needed after the year starts.

I have finished my back to school shopping.
My kids are grown and out of college. So no shopping this year.

Luckily, I don't really have any this year-so I'm done!

No, waiting till the last minute.
Luckily I didn't have to do so much back to school shopping this year since I've already purchased everything early, with a discount or coupon!
