Highly recommend house sitting, been doing it for many over 5 years now and saved tons of money. I use some of the sites you mentioned in your article, another good one is http://www.ozhousesitters.com.au/
Before each new baby (or other stressful time) I'd cook big batches of ground beef seasoned with onions, garlic, taco spices, etc, then divide them up into freezer bags. Lay them flat in the freezer, then they're super-easy to thaw and add to sauces or tortillas or whatever.
And I'd season and bake a bunch of chicken parts (breasts, thighs, etc), cut them into slices, and freeze them flat.
You can buy that stuff pre-packaged and frozen at the grocery store but it's crazy-expensive and not as good as what you can make at home.
I would also include some nail patch/filler. It's good for patching small holes and filling in gaps in drafty windows. You never know where that will come in handy!
My advices for companies
1. Educate your salesperson not to chase and get male customers out of the shop , we are not there to chase ladies or are not lady killers.
2.Educate your salesperson about different design and multiple choise of a product so that we dont try to explain what we mean when we say "I want fishnet stockings with a cut at back" or something similar.
3.Provide discounts for your salesperson that she may learn more about your products and help customers and provide feedback to you.
The methods you showed will work on 1 in 100 dents so dont waste your time and it will never take out the dent 100% . i never knew soda was so terrible! i am going to steer clear of it but am wondering about this new product that i like called " MIo liquid water enhancer" is that bad??
Sounds to me like you are biased against the organic industry in general & possibly against Horizon specifically. When they say they have no "added" antibiotics or hormones, that's exactly what it means. They are letting the public know that they don't use antibiotics on their cows. Many, including myself, appreciate that info. You assume more cows are slaughtered but back this with no hard data. They do not give growth hormone to the cows, also appreciate that info. Whether or not this is a forbidden practice in general has no bearing because the last bit, namely pesticides, ie CHEMICALS is really important to those of us who understand that pesticides contain pseudo-estrogens - chemicals that mimic hormones in your body. What you seem not to recognize is that there ARE national standards & accepted natural & organic farming practices that make a huge difference to a lot of people out there, including myself. Organic farmers are highly unlikely to just raise their cows like factory farmers do & rarely give them access to pasture as you suppose. Does it make sense to raise cows in unsanitary ways that lead to necessary antibiotics or slaughter? Seriously, you need to back your clad with hard data as you seem to me dangerously close to libel here. I would not doubt if you ended up getting sued for making false claims or hinting to them in such strong terms that you could harm this companies reputation.
One income families are almost impossible in some high cost of living areas.
When all the kids are in school, I just can't see being a lady of leisure. A part-time job makes sense if you make a good living -- more than enough to cover all the expenses -- or you just keep it simple like service or retail jobs nearby while kids are in school.
I developed a health problem that ended my employment. Unemployment was denied. I managed to stay in my own home and deal with my medical bills while waiting for SSDI approval because I lived a comfortable life and spent conservatively before my illness. I never wanted for anything as I saved and I never earned over $29k annually before my illness. I paid cash to travel, take classes and join a gym. All it took was a transfer to my savings of 10% off the top of my check every payday. I didn't even miss it but it was there if I needed it -- and I did.
Learning to make your own clothes is a great way to save money.
If you don't spend money on this you can do yourself, if you don't eat out, if you don't hire out but fix it yourself, if you grow your own food, you can live cheaply. I live on about $2000 (that's 2 thousand) dollars per year. I make way more than that, so the rest I put into savings.
I had to learn about money the hard way - my family didn't have much financial savvy and didn't prepare me for managing income and spending. Unfortunately this led to over reliance on credit and poor decision making around student loans. I've managed to get my debt organized, though I'll be paying it off for a long time. And I've learned that saving and future oriented money management is essential for building a secure life.
Like you, I no longer own a television. My family had a TV when I was growing up, then when I went off to college, I did not own a TV. Later, I did pick up a throw away TV and VCR and had one for about 3 years until 2003. Since 2004, I have not had a TV. I do listen to radio once or twice a week, to Spanish language broadcasting (to improve my Spanish; I am a native English speaker). I do go onto the Internet, but I do not watch TV there either. I don't go to YouTube, neither do I have a Facebook nor Google+ account; I just do not need them. The only Internet site I regularly use is either Bing and Yahoo for searches (I stopped using Google in 2009), and the Weather Channel to find out the weather. Although I used to be very tech savvy (I was a programmer), I have become more reticent of technology lately.
We have a large family so we try to save as much as we can. That's what motivates me !!! We use coupons & store brand products. We turn off lamps. tv's when not in use & also try to save on the gas bill by air drying laundry on the clothes line in the warm weather.
I've downloaded only a couple free apps. I've downloaded 2 free games. Other than that, I can't really see myself buying any other apps. I always try the free versions first and then decide on buying the full thing. I haven't really found too many paid apps that I would want to buy though.
I have to be very frugal with my money because I'm always broke! I pay bill and buy the necessities and that's it. I have no savings to fall back on and that worries me. I try to find coupons for the stuff I buy every month like laundry detergent and soap. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.

If you are a Costco member, you can get free samples of food while you shop for bargaihs. Ditto, if you shop at Trader Joes.
