Get over yourself! "Without the Use of ADDED Hormones"! Yes, there are going to be hormones in milk, but there are added concerns when rBGH is used, for both the cow and the consumer.
I am not a blind user, I am a licensed veterinary professional who does not eat dairy that is produced with these hormones.
This entire article is perverted.
How about you actually spend time educating the consumer!
I'm looking forward to the birth of my first grandchild, late this summer.
Also looking forward to finding (and keeping!) a reasonable work-life balance.
Well put. Be active in things that you enjoy, with people and/or pets that you care about, and you will be physically, and, possibly more importantly, emotionally fit. Taking care of the heart, lungs, body in-general, is as much about feelings as it is about working the limbs. We need to get back in touch with that truth. When you were a kid, did you force yourself to go climb the tree, like it was some God-awful chore? No! You climbed that wonderful thing because it seemed like a fun, challenging thing to do. And you probably raced your friend the whole way up, which made it socially stimulating as well.
I swear: the older we get, and the more crap that we let overwhelm us (media and people's mindlessly repeated opinions camoflauged as "knowledge"), the dumber, and unhealthier, we become.
But just recently I did something counter to what some would say makes good sense.
I bought a $15,000 motorcycle. Now why does someone almost 60 need to buy one of the fastest street legal bikes on the market today? Absolutely no reason at all.
But as the years have gone by, and I've grown from boy to man, one thing I've come to learn to trust is my inner voice, my gut.
It's said one never enjoy toys as much as when one is a kid. Well, I'm finding that's not true. I think this motorcycle brings me more joy than any toy I've ever owned. I'm really having a lot of fun.
And if one more person tells me to be careful, I swear, I'm going to slap em.
I like reasonable goals. They are much more manageable. My favorites are shop at the bulk club, volunteer, don't buy uneccessary expenses. The bulk club keeps my family on track. We are not constantly running back to the grocery store. It also stretches our dollars. It's better for the environment too bc there isn't as much packaging to throw out. I'm going to reread some of my financial books to set goals.
Awesome Site Guys! I searched and searched the net for three days before I found this site, there is more information here for the average rookie than any other site I have found.
My Question: I know you have touched on it but in reading all the post from front to back I still have a question. My mash is on day 6, there is a bed of sugar and corn meal on the bottom, 2 1/2 gallons of cloudy whiteish liquid on top; avg temp in house is 65 degrees. My air lock is bubbleing every 5-6 seconds with a single bubble. I used 4lbs sugar 2 1/2lbs corn meal and 2 packs of RapidRise Highly Active Yeast. I am sure I am being impatient but I sure wish this would hurry up. Again thanks for everyones help!
So true. For me, I guess if we are to have our own New Year resolution, it's better to do it not just because it's New Year. Everyone should do what he ought to do all year round.
Another effect is that stains your tooth and it's not nice to look at. Imagine the embarrassment you get when the person you are talking with is checking out your tooth. That's a big discomfort.
Thanks for the great post. I have been using mint for about a year and it does incredible job at helping me keep track of my expenses. You will be blown out to see how much money you spend on things you wouldn't even consider. Another thing is I will never open a bank account or a visa card with fees. This is against common sense. I am giving my money to banks so why would I pay for the fees?!
He'd be better off working for Monsanto. Oh wait, he sounds just like them!

I like you on Facebook. (But not that way.)

Thanks Ashley!
I know what you mean. It is probably best to pick the most important and really stick with it.
Interesting perspective! I will keep these thoughts in mind when my 8 year old is whooping me at Angry Birds!

I think that drinking cold drinks or soda ocassionally won't hurt much. But yes those who are regular drinkers should avoid it.
