Born on the 29th of February? Like FREE food? You’re in luck. Several places are offering free goods to those special people. Here are the best of the best:
According to The New York Times, hungry birthday celebrators can “try Morton’s The Steakhouse, which is offering a free special dinner to a limited number of guests in eight markets, among them Baltimore, Philadelphia and Hackensack, N.J. Reservations and birthday bona fides are required.”
Papa John’s will give leaplings a free pizza ordered online. Everyone else will be eligible for special promo pricing on this most special of days.
Birthday boys and girls can look forward to a free meal of chicken pot pie, meatloaf, or other options, courtesy of their local participating Boston Market. Yum…
(Note: All FREE birthday promotions will require a valid photo ID and, in some cases, a copy of your birth certificate for redemption.)
Not born on the 29th? You join me and most everyone else in that luck. Turns out, there are still some good promos going on for EVERYONE to enjoy:
Wiki claims that in years’ past, buying a burrito at Chipotle Mexican Grill on Leap Day will get you a coupon for a free one (printed on the bottom of your receipt.)
Rumor has it that McDonalds is doling out 29cent hamburgers in select markets on the 29th. Check for a flyer at your local joint to see if they are participating.
Buy a box of Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Pasta on February 29, and get a rebate for your full purchase price! (Be sure to mail it in by March 15th!) Form can be found on their website.
If you know of any other reports of free grub, we’d like to hear about it! Let us know in the comments, or check out our forums! Happy Birthday, Leaplings!
