Depending on how old you are, your mother or grandmother probably had one of these: a pressure cooker. (She probably also had a story of one exploding, which may be why they're not so common any more.) They're great tools, though, for quick home cooking. And they don't blow up any more.

This one takes the cake. I've heard of cheap, home solutions to possible expensive cosmetic procedures, but isn't this going a little too far? It's certainly not for the squeamish or people of a sensitive disposition.

There's one problem I have with being a thrifty shopper. Well, one big problem anyway. And it's that I always feel like there could be a better bargain somewhere else. I get buyer's guilt that I've overpaid, even when I've saved 90%. Because maybe, just maybe, I could have saved 95%. Or, 99% (the magic number...I have yet to see it).

One gorgeous wedding, one “flashed by so fast I can barely remember it” reception, and one glorious, relaxing honeymoon later, I’m back. It was fabulous. Truly fabulous. Sure, it had its glitches and panicked moments, but the memories I have in my mind are of being surrounded by people I love on one of the most important days of my life, and those I’ll cherish forever.
