First Friday, First Thursday or whatever your town calls the art gallery openings. Free snacks, maybe free wine and a chance to be all artistical.
Get a $1 box of sidewalk chalk from a crafts or dollar store and draw pictures on the pavement.
For number 5 (eye contact), this book is very interesting: The Power of Eye Contact: Your Secret for Success in Business, Love, and Life by Michael Ellsberg.
I like Relish! because not only does it plan your meals, it prints out a shopping list for the ingredients, organized by aisle. This saves me time because I'm not wandering around the store, and the less time I spend at the grocery store, the less I spend.
I actually think half of the things on this list are great and would love it if my daughter received more of them. My daughter likes candy but even she knows not to binge. I wish we could encourage moderation and thoughtful handouts INSTEAD of large bags of candy from Walmart. I encourage readers to remember to do what works for you and your family. If that includes handing out raisins instead of candy know that there are plenty of kids who DO love those too!
Yes. Online Banking makes it possible for me to pay my bills on time. Paper bills have a tendency to get used as bookmarks and disappear into the abyss.
Yes, I've used online banking for years. Love it! It's so nice to be able to keep an eye on your money any day, any time. It beats having to call in to check your balance!
It's important to make sure the spare tire is properly inflated. It won't do you much good if you have all the tools to put it on only to find it flat as well! You might want to add this advice to the main article.
I use online banking pretty much exclusively, since my bank is an online bank. I absolutely must be on top of my finances at all times since I am on such a strict budget, and online banking helps me to manage my finances and keep an eye on things all at the same time.
Oh no, I didn't realize quite how much of a dinosaur I am! I just turned 50, and I don't bank online yet! I do have direct deposit, and automatic payment for three monthly bills that are the same amount each month. I still use snail mail for my two credit cards and utility bills.
I've been doing a lot of research and reviews and will be opening up an online bank account, or 2, just as soon as I have enough money to put in there, lol...
I don't know. I don't have a problem with HALF the items you disparage. And I'm a mom of two! Candy doesn't last, so why should we expect trinkets and jewelry to survive? I think those are wonderful alternatives, as are stamps and stickers and such. If the child is disappointed, so be it. But I'll guarantee you, a child will be disappointed at any one stop. They may not like chocolate. They may not like sour candy. They may not like nuts.
I'm sorry, but you are sounding a bit bitter about a wonderful child's holiday. But it's okay if you just want to close the lights and the door. Not everyone has to be excited about Halloween. That's fine!
I love online banking -- it saves time, allows me to plan when payments come out, and even saves me money. My confirmation number is over 140 at this point...that means that I've saved over $60 just in postage stamps! :)
You are welcome!

He said 6 Volts, not 9 Volts.
Of course, online banking can be done anywhere with a smartphone these days
Yup! In fact, two of my savings accounts are online savings accounts.
I always use online banking. I was scared of bill pay for a while, but got tired of my checks getting lost in the mail. So far its worked perfectly!

Yeah, I do a lot online.

For sure - it's way more convenient and simpler to take care of bills, watch my balances, budget, etc.

I use USAA for all of my banking... fantastic personal service and very easy interface.
There are a ton of iphone beer apps out there... check out http://frankenmuthbrewery.com/blog/brewery/iphone-beer-app-awards/ for a more comprehensive list!
A: Yes. What I like the most is to be able to see how much is on my charge card, otherwise I'd never track it.
I do it it to save stamps and postage.
