Just happened to get a new credit card and actually read the package that can with. These are some great perks that I didn't know about before signing up and they were a great unexpected surprise.
Honestly, I like to relax after a long day by curling up on the couch with a book next to my husband while he catches up on TV. This is done after putting the kids down and getting to decompress. Usually, reading leads nicely into sleeping.
Been using the envelope system for 3 years. It works! I recently did something new. I reduced my monthly cash envelope allotment by $30.00. I then put that $30.00, in 6 $5.00 bills in a small coin purse. I call it my " 5 and under". I use that purse for any purchase that is $5.00 or less. I also store coins that I get as change from larger purchases in that same purse. I found that I was able to hold on to the larger denominations in my envelopes for longer periods. I was not breaking a $50.00 to pay for a $3.00 purchase. If I run short on the "5 and under" before month end, I replenish it from my envelopes, NOT the ATM!
I'm not sure what "the real stuff" is unless the author is talking about sterling silver. Sterling silver flatware is marked sterling - though the matching knives tend to be unmarked. Sterling silver is 92.5% silver and the standards for what constitutes "sterling" were set in the 1850's. Silverplate is common and inexpensive - an extremely thin layer of silver is bonded to a base metal such as copper, brass or nickel.
I buy and sell all kinds of flatware. My 2 best buys were:
40 pieces of sterling silver that I bought for $2 a piece and sold for $950.
55 pieces of Oneida stainless flatware (Clarette pattern) for 10 cents a piece that ignited a bidding war on ebay and sold for $384.

Good article. Particularly #1. It's very tempting to live in the moment.
I would also add though "You can't go wrong investing in real estate!" - although they may have stopped saying that now. Lots of people have learned that you certainly can. There is always something people say "You can't go wrong..." with but investing is never that easy!
Rgarding the tip on milk--is this a good use for milk that is starting to sour?
Beautiful places! Very few native Barcelonans drink sangría, however. It's primarily for tourists. Instead, try brut natur cava, the Catalan 'champagne'...
Great tips! Thank you for sharing. I had only been doing 3 out of this list, so I am happy to have found some new moves.
Cook a good meal and watch TV!
I usually play around on the internet, watch tv or read.
You mean 5 and 18? I agree...
I watch tv!

Wow, these are some really useful tips. Being far away from family, we use Skype or FaceTime regularly.
Interesting!
How does Coin get paid? Do you buy the device once or is there a subscription involved? Does Coin charges retailers/credit card companies?
It's always a good idea to check the travel alerts and warnings on the U.S. Department of State's website before journeying abroad. Here's a link: http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/country.html

Not to be rude.. a significant number of these treasures are located in dangerous countries. Count me out.

With MasterCard a lot of stuff ISN'T included (e.g anything with stored media, which means most electronics are out).
I like to sit on the porch to relax.
