I wish I could cut soft drinks out of my budget, for financial and health reasons. I drink a 2 liter every 2 days... its not a huge amount of money, but would be nice to free myself of my caffeine addiction!
One of the best free investment portfolio analysis tools that I've come across was Portfolio Verdict by MoneyWorks4me which gave me the intrinsic value of the stocks I owned as well as the color code of the fundamental strength of each stock
hi andrea. I loved your article. yes informatice, which was helpful, but very very funny! I loved it. would like to know where I could read more of your stuff. wish there were more writers out there with the same fresh sense of humour.
Home phone (land line) and eating out would be the first two to go. I could probably trim back on the amount I spend on gifts to people. I should trim the amount I spend on gas by taking public transportation, but my work hours are so unpredictable that I'd likely often be stuck at the office without a ride home.

Lately I’ve noticed a trend in apps that offer rewards like Gigwalk such as Shop Kick , Check Rewards, and iPoll. I have to say although they’re all innovative iPoll has to be my favorite , the app just offers so many opportunities to earn rewards, I have already made a couple hundred bucks off of them. http://www.ipoll.com/go1.html
Its so true that the way you spend your morning before heading to work sets your tone for the rest of the day. In the morning I like to wake up early enough to do everything I need to without rushing. Just being able to take the time I need to wash my face, brush my teeth and make my coffee at a slow pace, puts me in a good mood. Also, some upbeat music doesn't hurt!
Love this! My mom put brown bananas into the freezer to save to make banana bread, and it was always amazing! Using already cooked meats in soups and stews is a great way to make another meal out of an already pre made meal. Loving these articles that can help so many not waste money in creative ways.
What a cool and different article, with some great ideas! Learning can apply to so many facets, and learning more and more about ever progressing technology can allow you to be up to speed on various subjects, as well as be able to utilize the thing that our lives are quickly becoming based around.
We love our $2. movie night at the local theater every tuesday since i cut tv out of our budget (we still watch dvds on the television)
We hit the "dollar" menu at fastfood places when we travel each month as a treat. (i cut all weekly fastfood outings & save for trips instead)
I buy a few extra can goods when they are on sale to bulk up my pantry and to share with the church food bank.
I gave each child $5-$10 at the begining of each trip to teach them how to handle their own $$$ on treats...what they don't spend they can keep!!! (It's amazeing how many items they will deside they don't need rather than part with "their" money.
We could give up almost anything i we needed to...we try to teach the kids how to be wise with $$$ and have joy in their lives.
Also check out http://findyoganow.com/. This site allows you to search for yoga classes by your zip code. I use it all the time while I am traveling and its different from many other sites. It actually shows the class time and location, as oppose to just the studio. I like this because it eliminates a lot of the clicking and browsing that other sites make you do.
I did get myself removed from Spokeo. The thing that bothers me most is that they post my age on the internet. I read about a suit in San Francisco and one of the victors was a 20 year old who complained that it hurt his job prospects because Spokeo said he was 50 and married with kids.
Well, doesn't it hurt your job prospects when you really ARE 50! I mean, sure they will find out evenutally that you are not 20 when they meet you, but maybe if you look and act younger than you are it won't matter so much. However, with all that stuff available to anyone for FREE is absolutely INFURIATING.
I doubt you can stop these people, and my Facebook profile is all BS and phony identities anyway. But to put it up there for your co-workers and prospective employers to see just keeps me from sleeping at night. I would really be happy if Terrorists blew up their headquarters.

"Liked" on Facebook, too. Thanks!
My beauty spending is definitely the one thing I could do without, but I'm addicted to the gift with purchase!
Okay, wine is probably not an essential. But I buy it at Grocery Outlet so it is usually about $5 a bottle. Not bad!

Eating out and generally giving less walking around money to my teenage daughter.
I could leave without new clothes and shoes for a while..... The supply I own should be enough for years. Even the shoes... Yah. I know.
