Intelligence
Wait, that's what "smart" means?
Dear Princeton,
I was very displeased to receive your rejection of admission, but instead of wallowing in despair, I decided instead to reach out to you and request that you reconsider.
Here is my reasoning: I imagine that many factors played into my rejection, but none more paramount than my low GPA and standardized test scores. These things might together tell you that I am not smart. But let's look at a different definition smart, a more recent, more cutting-edge definition: the one Philips uses for their Smart TVs.
Introducing BABYMETAL
If you haven't heard this band, you're about to
What's the worst part of vacuuming? That's right -- not being able to listen to music. Even if you're rocking a relatively quiet 'cuum like this Dyson DC41 upright bagless, you're still not going to be able to hear your favorite tunes over the hum of the motor.
What you need is some music that manages, through sheer sonic force, to penetrate the decibel drone of the Dyson and help you pass the time while you clean. Death metal, while acoustically penetrating, fails to provide the "enjoyment" one seeks. Japanese girl pop, while catchy and pleasing, fails to pierce sonically.
Happy Music Monday! Today Scott's jumping in to the huge mess that is story songs. Everyone knows at least one song with way, way, way too much plot. But are there five? Well, sadly… yes. And you're about to endure them. Let's start with a "classic" of the "genre"...

Am I Otter Not?
Less fun than a box of otters, but less cryptosporidium infections, too.
Why would you need a waterproof case for your smartphone? Six possible reasons:
Raise The Bar
You know, this sound bar is MUCH easier on my liver than my regular bar was.
Used to be that, after work, I'd go out to a bar and do some shots! Today, though, I can't wait to get home to my Samsung 2.1 BT Soundbar and listen to the sound of all my favorite vodkas, bourbons and ryes.
The glurg of a rum! The guzzling noise of a vodka! The snap and pop of an ice cube in whiskey! All this and more is what I hear through the magic of the 3D Sound Plus power.
You know what else I hear? The sound of my bank account getting fatter! I had no IDEA how much money I was spending on cocktails every week!
Feeling Included
When buying the tablet, it's not just about the tablet you buy. It's also about what's included with it.
Before deciding on including a pouch with this Samsung Galaxy Note 8" Tablet, we considered several other options. Here's what was on the drawing board:
Samsung Galaxy Note 8" Tablet w/Slouch: When we originally proposed this idea, it was, hey, people can be lazy and slouching while using the tablet and won't feel bad because the tablet will be slouching too. Turns out, though, that when a tablet is slouching, it messes up the way the light hits it or something, and you can't see what's on the screen clearly.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8" Tablet w/Couch: Who doesn't love a new couch!? A couch to go with a tablet? Even better! But the shipping people shut down that idea saying it wouldn't make a profit or some crap like that.
Did you know that the second week of March is Brain Awareness Week around the globe? You didn’t? You weren’t aware of your brain? Conscious of your consciousness? Well, get with the program. March is perhaps the brainiest month of the year—it’s also when we celebrate the 1879 birthday of famous smarty-pants Albert Einstein, and the 1946 beginning of Mensa intelligence testing. But it turns out people will believe just about anything they hear about what’s going up between their ears. We’ve asked Ken Jennings to fact-check some particularly lame-brained misconceptions about gray matter.

The Debunker: Are There “Left-Brained” and “Right-Brained” People?
Are you sick of watching boring television programs in the age of video games? Tired of never-ending speeches and shots of Jack Nicholson trying not to fall asleep? Hey, this year, why not make the O████s fun again? Why not join us in a few games of BINGO?
We've put together one two three four different Bingo cards, so you and those you love can compete to see who is the best person in the history of ever. Print 'em out, hand 'em out, fill the spaces and cheer!
Just, whatever you do, don't say their actual given name. Sheesh. It's like they're Voldemort or something.
De-Detox
Guys, let's make juice fun again.
It's time to "cleanse" ourselves of the idea that drinking juice is a goody-goody chore, a ritual of self-denial, something we associate with fasting. Aside from the fact that there's no science behind "juice cleanses", and the fact that there's not really even such a thing as "toxins", and the fact that your body has several perfectly good organs already devoted to processing unwanted material, there's also the fact that "juice cleanses" make juice seem really boring and uptight.
